Just an update on my situation. My truck is tore apart at the dealer getting just about all the plastic trim pieces replaced. One of the led taillights was also not working. That was ordered but is on back order with no ETA so the dealer is unable to sell the truck even after they fix everything...
Yea, they already put in a replacement order. The truck that arrived today has $22k in damages that Ram has already given the dealer the greenlight to fix.
Not like this. The dealer called me and the first thing they said to me was "well your truck is here, but the bad news is that you won't want to accept it."
Yes, they will. I just am friends with them and was able to see it right after it came off the truck. The full detail won't fix the bleached out plastic/trim that already looks years old nor will the interior ever be "new car" clean. The plastic on the rear bumper is white! Same with the plastic...
My truck arrived at the dealership today. It looks absolutely like crap! It’s a shame Ram would allow a brand new custom ordered truck to arrive like this. It is full of sand including on the inside! All of the trim and plastic is faded out into that ugly whitish black color. The truck looks...
It took 51 days to build my truck once it started production! :D:p I’m really expecting it to arrive with tons of swirls and other paint damage to the black paint from sitting in a lot inMexico for the last two months. Super excited!
Yea, you specifically need to option the “towing technology group” on the Laramie trim no matter what level you select in order to get the surround view camera.
Ah, yes. It is so comforting to watch orders that were put in almost two months after yours get shipped out while yours sits in Mexico. No equipment list or window sticker as the truck is still "In Production". According to my dealer it has been complete and in storage since 2/8. Five weeks and...
The window sticker will only show in the tracker if the status has progressed to "Vehicle Built". For some reason, there are lots of trucks with the status of "In Production" even though they have been completed and moved to storage several weeks prior. Mine being one of them.
I am in the same place as you. My truck still shows as "In Production" on the tracker but it was built sometime the first week of February. It has been in storage since. I am not able to view the equipment list, yet. It says "Ooop! Unsupported VIN"
I am starting to wonder if something is not...
Yup, my estimated delivery just changed from April 15 to May 7.
The tracker still shows as "in production" but I know from my dealer that it was completed and moved to storage on 2/15.
Ordered 12/21
Scheduled 1/22
In production 2/7
I ordered purely on hope. The change from the six speed to the eight speed with the V8 was a huge upgrade. I think this will be an even bigger upgrade than that. If the Ram PR is to be believed, they say the 0-60 time is dropping from 8 seconds to 6.9. This would be a nice drivability change. I...
Last time (April 2023) my truck sat in Mexico before shipping, they had a bad hail storm and then my truck sat an additional two months while they individually checked each truck for damage. I hope they get all of ours on the train soon!
The tracker will lag behind actuals by anywhere from 1-10 days in my experience. Not sure why. One of my trucks, it was updated within a day of actuals.
Making progress! Mega cab, laramie, level 2 plus, Towing tech group, night edition, tow mode digital mirror package, sunroof, clearance lamps, aux switches, cold weather group, 5th wheel group.
My brother has a 3500 with the air and I have a 3500 without the air. Both mega cabs. His rides better when unloaded for sure. I don't think mine rides bad, but his definitely takes some of the shock out of the bumps and feels a bit more stable. I am not sure on the ride difference while towing...
