With just under 50,000 miles, the Cooper AT3 XLT tires still had some tread left but had ZERO traction on wet asphalt. I have also had hell balancing them and they developed abnormal wear for the last 20ish thousand miles. So I decided to replace them before the big freeze event here in Central...
Well, I gambled and didnt replace the 2.5 year old OEM batteries back in Aug/Sept when I started this thread. Last week, the temps here in Texas dropped into the thirties and the truck was DOA. Picked up a pair of Interstate AGMs from Costco for less than $400. Hopefully they last more than 3...
Thanks for all the replies. Based on your responses, I decided to roll with the OEM batteries for a bit longer. Hopefuly I didnt jinx myself and they crap out tomorrow. It's nice to know there are other decent AGM options available at Costco or Walmart.
That was a Labor Day sale that has passed. They were listed at ~$320 each and the 20% sale dropped them to ~$250. I decided to roll the dice and keep the OEM batteries for a bit longer.
Howdy. I didnt want to hijack the other battery thread.
I am curious what you all are seeing for life span of your OEM batteries? I have a 2022 6.7 and have not had any battery issues yet. My coworker has a 2023 6.7 and has already had to replace his (under warranty).
I ask this because NAPA...
Like Brutal_HO said, make sure you phone is totally disconnected from the truck (bluetooth and wifi off). I had this exact same thing happen. I assumed the truck was wrong and the phone GPS (waze, gps app, etc.) was correct, but that wasnt the case. Something weird happens when they are paired...
Hello all. This community has already helped me out on a few issues but I'll formally introduce myself. My name is Kyle and I am the proud owner of a 2022 RAM 2500 Laramie 2500. Based on recommendations from this forum, I have completed the following mods:
* Thuren 1" front springs with Fox...
I have a chrome grill off a 2022 RAM 2500 Laramie Edition. The grill is in "like new" condition. I just purchased the truck new in January and replaced the factory chrome grill with a black one. Also includes chrome R A M lettering and chrome accent pieces. The chrome lettering currently has...
Jimmy07 Nailed It! Thank You! Turned the phone bluetooth off and the GPS and truck speedometer matched (minus the small differential from the 1" taller tires)! I had not even considered that the multiple GPS apps I was using were wrong. Very strange that the GPS speed was constantly 10% slower...
Agreed. The issue was there before I went to a slightly taller tire. The slightly taller tire actually helped get the actual speed closer to indicated. I spoke to the dealership that sold me the truck and they said I would have to leave the truck with them for "a couple" days for them to...
Hello, I am the proud owner of a new 2022 2500 Cummins Laramie. I've noticed that the truck speedometer indicates ~10% higher than actual speed. I have checked speed with multiple GPS apps and roadside radar and the truck consistently shows 10% faster. I understand that most vehicles error on...
First, thanks for everyone who actively posts on this forum as it has been a good source of info for me being a new RAM owner. I recently purchased a 2022 RAM 2500 Laramie and wanted to upgrade the trash Firestone tires while keeping the factory 18" Laramie Wheels. Based on research here, I went...
Agree with all the others. Make it optional and I will gladly disable it. While you are at it, I (well mostly my neighbors) would also like to get rid of the two horn beeps when remote starting the truck.
