I’m a little late in posting this. Back in August I drove my son from our home in Northern California, to his university in Nebraska for his sophomore year. We took Interstate 80 until the middle of Wyoming and then drove north to Casper. We then took U.S. Highway 20 from Douglass, Wyoming...
Last August while driving through Wyoming, we stopped at Fort Laramie in Eastern Wyoming to visit the old Calvary Fort. When we arrived there, I had already driven about 15 miles past zero miles left in the tank. We were on our way to Nebraska, so the next sizable town was Torrington, Wyoming...
I have a 2023 6.4 Laramie 2500 MegaCab that gets roughly 17 mpg on cross country trips, hand calculated. That’s with about 900 lbs. in the cab. I’m not sure what I get around town, as I very seldom use it as a daily driver.
I can’t say I have that problem of a wobble or wiggle on the front tires when going over washboard type road bumps. Really have no issues with the truck. The over 17 mpg was on a recent trip of nearly 4,700 miles. I drove the speed limit, the fastest being 80 mph in Nevada.
I’ve had my 2023 Laramie 2500 6.4 MegaCab for 58 weeks now. I’ve taken two cross country trips from my home in Northern California to Northwest Iowa and Eastern Nebraska. My odometer just turned to 14,000 miles.
I also have my oil changed at the dealer. Last year I bought two prepaid Mopar oil changes online for $160.00, which included tire rotation. Unfortunately, this year I couldn’t find the same deal online. Instead, I found a Mopar coupon online for two oil changes for $130.00. Just do a Duck...
This review is mostly written for those who have never owned a Ram before and have never had a HD truck. Thirteen months ago I flew down from Sacramento to Tuttle-Click Ram in Irvine, California to pickup my 2500 MegaCab Laramie, that I had custom ordered months earlier in March. Tuttle-Click...
I’m more than happy to have helped you out! I’ve mentioned Tuttle-Click before a few times but usually get drowned out by the Mark Dodge groupies. I get it that people have gotten a good price on their purchase and have had a positive experience with Mark Dodge. But you don’t always have to...
You may want to give Tuttle-Click Ram in Irvine a call (949) 472-7400 and speak to Robert Trachtman. He’s the Internet Manager there. I purchased a 2023, 6.4, 2500 MegaCab last year for 4% below invoice. I ordered the truck in March and it was built and delivered to the dealership in late...
I have 2023 2500 6.4 Ram Laramie MegaCab I picked up in August 2023. I don’t have any of the issues you’ve had with the air conditioner or defroster. I live in the Sacramento Valley where temperatures can reach 110 in the summer months. The air conditioner gets so cold my son asks me to turn...
I didn’t do this today, but back in August, the week I picked up my truck at the dealer. Had Ceramic Pro applied and had all windows tinted with Stratos. Even though there are 3 businesses in the town I live in that do tinting, I chose to have the work done 85 miles away in Roseville...
Dealers will always try and sell you extras, no matter what state you’re in. I agree, you will probably get a good deal at dealerships like Mark Dodge, Koons, and Granger. The question is, is it worth the cost of the trip to fly out to wherever you’re buying your truck. You have the cost of...
