Its new tire day so I thought I would share. I did not choose the Goodyear as I was not comfortable with the 2 ply side wall. I went with Mickey Thompson Baja boss 305/70r18. So far in the 40 miles I've driven the truck is smooth and rider nice. Lol. I don't know why pictures won't load. I will...
I saw the price this is tempting. How do they ride, road noise? For now I will be on stock wheels I. The future I will change to 18x9 +18 or +20.
Thanks Johan13.
So I have to change and buy new tires. I currently have 305/70r18 BFG KO2 I run them at 55 to 65 psi unloaded to loaded. In the last 2 week the tires have started to shake like death wobble. The truck has 42000 miles on it and the tires are at 28000. So I changed the track bar and no change into...
This was one off the best things I did as far as towing. Much more stable and no squat. Very good addition. Run 0 pressure when unloaded. And with 1200lbs tongue weight I run 50lbs pressure and with my enclosed trailer about 600 pounds tongue weight I run 5lbs.

That a nice wheel who makes it?
I have 305/70x18 BFG KO3s. I have been happy with the tire size other than the BFG bounce. I use the to do light off road and pulling a tongue pull toy hauler. Trailer is 11600 gross weight.
I have not had those troubles with my turck. I have had tires BFGs that are not round a few times.
As a side note it is amazing to see another Dewey!!! Only met a few and good to see another.
Has anyone tried or know anything about PPE filter for the 6.4. I found they make a filter for the 6.4 thought they only did Diesel stuff. Claims to filter to 10 micron. They are out of stock so I have not ordered any yet and not sure if that means they don't sell much of not...
Ya a little much they stick out .950 and a cap may add .050. I used them on my front shocks I have not done the rear yet. I change service all 4 in the spring.
This is the fix not to have to buy the 400$ tool.

Power will be better as the engine will get easier air. Its hard to tell the throttle movement is controlled by the computer. I run without the charcoal filter and a Diesel air filer.
The charcoal filter is an emissions thing to help with off gassing. I Found filter top from eBay for 40$ to...
That's probably true. On SXS shocks I drill and tap them then use Schrader valves. They work out great. not saying that's what you should do. Sounds you know what you need or want to do. If I am told I can't do that is a good motivator to do it my own way buys some tools and learn some ****...
I suggest when servicing the shocks is to go to a Schrader valve. I have used needle for year and never feel good about them. When I pressurize a shock when needles I an never confident on the pressure. Some time when removing the needle they will leak. You can get the Schafer valve s from...
So I have had more BFG tires than I can count on my trucks and my wife's trucks. I know how they will handle a variety of terrains. I tried a motto tire and could not take them of fast enough. 4000 miles. Then went back to a KO2 3s were not available. I am looking for my next set of tires and...
