The Saga of the lost truck has come to a good ending. The General Manager at my dealership called and said my truck arrived late last night. She went to Kirby yard and picked it up for me. Even sent a picture of it at the dealership. Waiting to see if i can do the paperwork tomorrow.
So, my truck is finally arriving in San Antonio tomorrow. Trying to get dealership to pick it up from 26 miles away. After waiting 184 days in a corner somewhere. Hope they make an effort to pick it up.
Well, Mike emailed me on the 4th day after his email and said he was showing that my RAM 2500 is currently on a rail car heading my way. The current ETA to my dealer is between 11/1 and 11/16. I am hoping this is true. Where would I find out if it is actually leaving Mexico? The dealer is no help.
He said they had a rail car shortage and would forward my VIN to his contacts at the plant and see if they can work to get it shipped out as quickly as possible.
Mike MacDonald emailed back this morning. 19 Feb order and 27 Apr build . So if the last few gents had their trucks shipped two days after he reached out, I should be getting a shipped notice this week. Hope it finally ships after 176 days waiting to ship.
Hope you get your truck soon. Just checked on mine on Order tracker and it says mine was built on 27 April and pending to be shipped. Not sure what the delay is.
Hello all. I joined today and hope to meet and talk with other Ram owners. Waiting on my 2500 I ordered in February. Currently driving a 2016 1500 EcodDesel.
