WOW for that price I might give it a shot for my 2025. I don't have plans to install the 3rd brake light camera just want that wireless camera option on an "always on" screen while towing.
Thanks for sharing!
Well that great info to know thank you! I do want my solution to be on the entire time as I'm towing down road so sounds like not an option for my needs until a solution for MY25+ is available.
Thats a tempting solution. I would be very interested to see how it looks/works in the uConnect screen while towing, what options/setup does it allow from a layout standpoint etc.
I have been looking at installing the brandmotion before our spring trips kick off but have been hesitant as the...
yes, pre 2025 are able to be changed by tools like J-Scan or alphaOBD. Someone will figure out the security on the new canbus eventually just hasn't happened yet that I've seen. There are threads on it with more detailed info.
Unless someone has cracked the security on 25MY+ (haven't seen that confirmed) the tools and dealers can only select PSIs that were pre programmed matching tire options that came stock. if your tires are outside that your stuck till that happens.
Agree with the comment about joining a forum for your specific RV as the front cap design really plays the biggest part of how turning radius works, there are just so many variables to review for making the choice.
Gen-Y hitch and Gen-Y offset ball have been amazing upgrade for us, we do a ton...
Your deals should be locked in on order, then you can choose to keep those OR switch to current if better when you do the purchase paperwork. I ordered my truck the day my Ram cash expired and it applied when I completed purchase months later when truck was delivered to dealer.
I'll admit I don't read every forum post but there are a couple there I hadn't heard about yet :( nor had I seen they are up to 185 communications documents already. Sheesh.
Thats the concerning part, how did they not catch this during that testing they should have needed to change the filters on those test rigs :| What else didn't they catch.
My 2000-2500 (depending on load in the RV) pin weight 5th wheel sagged my 2022 2500 2'-3". Was over on payload but never over on axel weight. I get the "set it and forget it" idea of the timbrens or these boogie bumps, there were many trips where we changed the weight in our trailer...
For what it's worth I've run my airlift bags with the internal bumper on 0 psi for years with no issues as do many others on the forum. I've also never felt any meaningful difference in ride quality between 0-5psi when the truck is empty which makes sense as the bags should be doing no work in...
FINALLY got it to work on the 2025! I think I've tried it about 50 times without any luck. This time I was sitting in the truck for over 2-3 full minutes waiting for everything to turn off, waited for full dash off, the USB lights to go off etc then waited a bit more and I also waited like 2-3...
So should we never remote start our glow plug based engines? The computer doesn't wait a millisecond before firing feels like it should be that smart after the grid heater based engines were smart enough to be warmed up first.
Getting our first real cold weather recently and just want to ask what's probably a dumb question about the new 2025+ engines with glow plugs and the startup process. Past experience with glow plugs in pre 2010 diesel you turned the key into on and waited for the glow light to turn off before...
I haven't looked into it much but replacing the stock chrome lug nuts that came on my night edition (so dumb) is on my upgrade list. Am I correct that the stock OEM lug nuts are 60° conical seat and 14×1.5mm thread meaning those AEV replacements would work on stock rims also? Seems like a good...
They are active on this forum pretty heavily helping with order questions and timelines for model years etc, no marketing from what I've seen just strong sales through the US and a lot of happy forum customers. They were the best deal I found when ordering my new truck and was well worth the...
