I thought mine whined a bit when it was first done but it sounds perfectly normal now. Not sure cuz it was new or the fuel treatment I put in the tank though.
Holy crap, congratulations!
A friend of mine was told that by his dealer so I thought they'd have a build date for the truck otherwise how do you come up with a ship date? To my surprise they had no build date, just est ship date.
Canadian window stickers are formatted differently than US ones. That's pretty quick for a Canadian order. I'm in the US and I ordered mine two weeks before you did and I still have nothing but D status.
That really stinks, shame on the dealer for not letting you know as soon as they found out. Did they say what their plans are for it, fix it and give it to you or reorder?
That's my guess, higher profit margin on the more optioned builds get priority. Trucks ordered 6 weeks after mine from the same dealership have already been built and will be delivered this week. 3500's with HO diesel, only difference is higher trim level Laramie's. I ordered a Tradesman...
You can filter the spreadsheet by model and it seems Big Horns and Tradesman orders are disproportionately slower to fill than the others that have more equipment on them, I wouldve' guessed the opposite of that based on supply shortages. I ordered my Tradesman the same week you did and I see a...
If you aren't hung up on the Ram Boxes, my dealer today removed some items from my order because I"m going on 4 months at D status and as long as you are still at D status they remove items from your build. That being said, I still trucks being built that have Ram Boxes, hard part is how long...
After I saw that list I started looking at recently built trucks and it seems many are being built that have the options that are in short supply. Hard to say if they are the reason why other trucks aren't being built as they aren't transparent about why a truck that's been on order since last...
I just contacted my dealer and asked them if I could delete the two things on my truck that are on this list and as long as its still D status it's possible so they gave the contact info for the guy their dealership deals with for orders, fingers crossed they remove the items from the order and...
I have one item on the list, the bed utility group. Status D since I ordered in December, is it possible to get an order changed while it's still in status D?
I'm with ya, it would be worth the two day drive to help navigate this process with someone who is competent and pushes information to the customer rather than the customer have to contact them and wait to hear back.
You don't need to buy it when you buy your truck from my understanding. You have 36 months bumper to bumper so you can shop around, see what you can buy it for and have the dealership match the best deal or move on.
Once you open the spreadsheet you make it give you any type of information that you are looking for by clicking on the lettered box at the top of the column. Sort it by A-Z then you can go down to the box with the column label in it (engine, wheels, etc) and click on it then uncheck the boxes...
