Was trying a brake stand so see if the torque converter was working properly as there is hesitation when accelerating. Wasn’t trying to do a burn out. The dealer doesn’t seem to care or know much that’s why I was asking.
I noticed hesitation from start, tried doing a brake stand after trans heats up and engine goes to 1000 rpm with no power to spin wheels. Took to dealer and they cannot duplicate problem, told me truck will not do brake stand as there is a protection to prevent this. I think the torque converter...
I have a 2500 mega cab, diesel, 4X4. There is a grinding type of sounds coming from the rear 30-50 MPH at low rpm’s while lugging the engine. I made a video with my GoPro, dealer doesn’t know what it is. I’m thinking loose pinion nut , bad bearings? Anyone else have this noise?
Ordered 3500 mega cab limited on 10/1 from mark dodge. Checked with them end of October, no movement. Ram chats says they are getting the parts together but otherwise useless.
