Is the 80.9' height confirmed? Requesting advice re, 7' garage etc.

My old man’s truck (not a PW) has a Thuren 2” level and is sitting on 35’s, it fits in my garage and I have a standard 7’ door. My truck is 100% stock and I was curious if it would fit should I decide to go the same route… I can measure the lowest point thru the threshold if you’d like

Considering changing out my 5th wheel hitch setup and looking for input/experiences

@wrvond what 5v’r do you have? I’ve got a Grand Design 278 BH 150 series, maxed out is 10,195lbs, my pin is about 1,700 lbs. Although not necessary, I run mine 4” back (B&W Turnover) and have noticed zero ride difference.

Considering changing out my 5th wheel hitch setup and looking for input/experiences

Love my GenY, coming up on 3 years this September. I’ve not had a single issue and it rides like a dream. I can’t speak to anyone else’s issues, the fit and finish on mine is perfect, the unit has been flawless since it was installed. I like not have to inflate/adjust an airbag when I hook up...

What did you do TO your RAM today?

Not mine and not today (just last week) but here’s the old man’s ‘22. He picked this up about 2 years ago, already had a 2” spacer and 35” Klevers. Needless to say he didn’t really like the ride so when he decided to finally get new tires last week he actually took his son’s advice and ditched...

Ya, I guess it would help if I turned my phone sideways more often….. PC huh? I grew up in FWB.

    Towing

For those that don’t have one, a lot of the “half ton towable” 5vers tend to have pin weights that are less than the usual 20%, the manufacturers go out of there way to keep them lighter on the pin(hence the delusion of using a half ton as a tow rig). My listed dry weight was 1,380 lbs or...

    Towing

I’m well aware he has a 2500 . My 150 series is labeled “half ton towable” as well, my comment was directed towards the fact I wouldn’t tow my 5ver with a half ton, RV manufacturers’ labeling is woefully misguided. Which one you got?

    Towing

@drb which 5ver you looking at? I have a 150 series Grand Design, no way I’d pull this with a 1/2 ton!

    Towing

I’ve got 3:73’s and my 5ver tops out at 10,195 lbs, max pin weight sniffs 1,700 lbs. so I’m in the same ball park. My setup works great, sits damn near perfectly level on the stock suspension and I’m traveling with the wife and 3 teenage girls (no one but me packs light!). I’m old school in...

    Input on 2025 3500 6.4L

Keeping the idling down is key but I’d also recommend not doing long oil change intervals. I wouldn’t go more than 7k miles, less if you have mostly short trips. Opinions will vary on OCI ;)

    Front Differential Growling

@rearwheelmaniac Nothing worthwhile. Some specialist was involved and couldn’t figure it out. The dealership is fighting to get another engineering specialist out to take a look. I know the head of the service department, actually knew him before he worked at this dealership, our girls have been...
