Some dealers insist on living up to the bad image that dealers have made for themselves over the years. I haven't run across one yet that I would trust any further than I could throw them.
Twin turbo version that produces 1000 lbs of torque would work. The downside while towing would be 5 mpg at almost 5 bucks a gallon. I can see the recreation market disappearing with the liberal politicians playing the blame game.
The only thing I can say is they need to build some really large gas engines to get the diesel torque, I'm thinking at least 9 liters which will lead to a larger truck to get that monster to fit under the hood. I guess they could always turbo charge a 7 liter.
My traded 2021 1500 Longhorn had the same exterior/interior color combination. My '22 Limited 3500 has the same exterior color. Nice looking truck. With the 4.10 gears that I have, my best fuel economy so far is about 17 mpg. Florida has long stop lights, with that you can sit and watch the fuel...
Anyone heard that Chrysler has told the dealers they can no longer order Wranglers and Heavy Dutys for dealer stock? They now have to be sold orders to be able to place an order. The dealer told me the restriction is because they cannot meet the demand.
Mine displays the Diesel prices but it's only the name brand stations which are a minority in my area. Sounds like Big Oil is paying someone off to display them. What a waste since I don't use those station and over pay for diesel.
Anyone having to reboot their 12 inch display because the App button doesn't work and after rebooting the weather screen doesn't want to load? Seems like this has been more of a problem after the latest over the air update about a month ago.
Isn't that about the time the 23's go into production? Hope they give you a good discount since your truck will be the previous year's model by the time you get it. I think I would order a 2023 model at that point.
Has any one noticed that their elevation showing on their truck is off. Here in Florida at 10 feet above sea level mine is reading 79-80 feet below sea level. I haven't looked yet to see if there is any way to calibrate it. Any thoughts from anyone?
You are not completely correct. No towing for the first 500 miles to allow the rear end gears to break in if its a diesel. The gas models may have a break in period for the engine as well but since I don't own a gas model I can't say what the break in period is, but I'm sure it has one
