What I thought was funny is Ram actually did/does have a service procedure for removing the 2nd alternator option. You'd think adding a second alternator would be a popular request, but can't understand why anybody would actually need to remove it...- theviking

Agreed, if you don't need the second battery for starting or some other specific reason then it's just dead weight sitting on the nose of the truck.- theviking
