All,
I have a MY22 and am in the process of adding 360 surround view and deleting chrome. This forum has been super helpful in pulling together all the parts. I am down to a few parts that I need to confirm part numbers for. Any help with these would be greatly appreciated:
Night Edition...
Thanks, gprguy. I found those parts in the forums as well, but allmoparparts.com says the left (68361479AC) won't fit a 2022 2500, though it says the right (68361478AC) will. Could be an error on allmoparparts.com bc they appear to be consecutive part numbers.
Hi all,
I am working on doing this conversion on a 2022 Ram 2500. Also using this opportunity to delete chrome. These forums have been a huge help. I think I have all parts figured out except the side mirrors. I need black, power folding, with 360 view cameras, and fits a 2022. Anyone have part...
Hi all,
I am wondering if anyone has recommendations on a 4x4 shop in Utah (preferably Salt Lake or nearby). I have a 2022 diesel 2500 and would like to get a few things done, including air compressor install. Thanks!
Yes, I put a cap on after those pics were taken. I use the decked for organizing small things (tools, etc.), and the cargo glide comes in handy getting larger things in and out of the bed with the cap on.
@cmr287 I ended up going with a Cargo Glide model build to go on a decked system (http://www.cargoglide.com/products/cargoglide-for-decked/). So far it‘s working great.
I have a decked system for the bed of my 2022 2500, and I am wondering if anyone has tried attaching a bedslide to the top, and if so, how involved that process was. Bedslide has a kit they sell to do just that, but a rep at Bedslide told me that because the Ram bed is 6'4", not a true 6'5" bed...
Does Laramie add anything except Leather? Are there tech things that are optional at Bighorn but standard in Laramie? Or is it that Laramie offers a more comprehensive B (/C?) group?
I'm not 100% sure yet, but it seems like about $1k extra to individually order the tech package options. Tech package was $2995. Tow package ($2255) has almost everything in tech package except Speakers, premium lights, and 12" w/nav. Speakers are $595, Premium lights are $795, and 12" w/Nav...
No, just asking dealers. Unfortunately it's not available online, as far as I can tell. The two dealers I have been communicating with have been willing to try to piece together a tech package from different individual options.
As far as I can tell, you can still order most of the things that were in the tech package with a Bighorn, but they are now priced individually and overall it is probably more expensive.
Sorry should have clarified--I don't know if Equipment B and Tech are available for any other trims, but two dealers confirmed to me they are gone for 2022 Big Horn.
I think Level B was replaced with Level C (which both added and removed things from Level B). Not sure yet about Tech package. Still waiting to hear back from the dealer on whether there is a replacement package.
I have a similar question to Savage99ss. I posted this as a standalone thread, but posting here as well in case anyone has insight.
I submitted a build this week for a 2022 Big Horn based on Ram's website, which is still listing the 2021 builds. The dealer got back to me and told me that...
Hi all,
Has anyone been able to get a hold of a list of the 2022 packages (listing what is included and the price)? Relatedly, does anyone have 2022 pricing on the non-package options?
I recently build out a Big Horn based on the packages and pricing available on the website (which is still...
Is there any consensus on whether there is a large mpg difference between the 1500 eco-diesel and the 2500 Cummins? I keep seeing a very wide range of reported mpg online, especially for the 2500 Cummins.
Thanks for these comments, guys. This is very helpful.
On the elevation factor, is the issue that the naturally aspirated Hemi will be relatively weaker at 7k feet, whereas the turbo-diesel will retain much of its power? I understand this conceptually, just haven't heard from anyone with a gas...
Hi all,
I know this topic has been heavily discussed in other threads, but I have been scouring discussion threads for months and haven't been able to come to a consensus on the best truck for my personal situation. I am pretty set on getting a Ram, but I am still torn between 1500 and 2500...
