Also the springs should be installed so that you can read the Thuren logo and part number from the outside. They are on upside down and maybe on the wrong side.

It could also be some wiring rubbing up against the steering column. I had a wire resting on mine and it would make that noise when I would turn the wheel

The springs will lower your pay load if they are the softer rate springs but the Trac bar will help with stability.

I would do it. All you will need is an air bag set-up and it will tow all you need it to. What if the Jeep breaks and you can't drive it up on the trailer? Good thing you have a winch to pull it up on the trailer!

Not silicone. There are vents on the back of the headlight. If they are pushed in too far it doesn't allow moist air to escape and you get condensation.

Sounds like the linkage might need adjusted. Hopefully it's that simple. Considering the danger involved with what happened they may just replace the trans to be safe.
