I noticed there was an update available so I deciced to look on the forums to see if there was any information about it and I'm glad I did. I think I'll wait.
I picked up this thread around page 40, during Kingphillip’s rein, and ordered around page 60. This was my first time ordering a truck and many members helped me with my questions and offered their advice. Thank you.
This thread really helped pass the time and reminded me that I’m not alone...
This is my truck! There are many like it, but this one is mine…..
Finally, after picking up the truck last Sunday, dropping it off Monday for a DEF limp mode message, setting in service jail for 5 days, it’s home. And yes, the person that did the PDI over filled the DEF tank causing the error...
Without diving into contract laws, this isn’t entirely true. If you and the dealer agree on the pricing, you enter into contract by giving them the deposit . Offer, consideration and acceptance. When the truck comes in and they (the slimy dealer) have a new price they want you to pay, that...
I took delivery of my truck on Sunday 12/5. But not without drama.....Bud Clary in Auburn Washington SUCKS!! Hopefully people that find this thread looking for places to order in or near the Pacific Northwest will see this.
Truck delivered to the dealer 12/3, they did their PDI and let me...
Picked up my truck today and I love it! I’ll post more about me dealer experience, a photo or two, and what I learned as a first time ordered-truck buyer tomorrow when I have more time.
Talk to Gary Spencer at Bud Clary in Moses Lake , he was doing invoice less holdback + $150 dock fee. There is one member on here that just took delivery from them and had a good experience.
So far I can't complain, he answers text right away and since the truck shipped I didn't have to ask for updates much. He was new to car sales when I ordered my truck so he hasn't been ruined yet.
My truck was unloaded today, a full 6 days early from the orginal ETA when it left Mexico on 11/14. The longest my truck sat anywhere was in Eagle Pass and that was nearly 5 days.
My experience so far I would say you won't see it before Christmas unless it ships today and your dealer can get it from the railyard when they unload it. Mine shipped form Mexico on 11/14 and was in Portland this morning with 150 miles to go, it still has a 12/4 ETA in Kent, WA. Dealer says...
Did you also order from Gary?
Edit: I see you got it from Dave Smith. Found your post when you picked her up. I tried to keep up with the Washington orders but this thread is never on topic LOL
