To be clear i am most concerned with loose snow performance and I haven't found anything that does as well as the klever RT on a full size truck, including "real" snow tires. As I mentioned, the klever RT wears real bad in the summer. I think I will probably go back to the klever RT for winter...
They seemed decent in the snow. Maybe not as good as the kenda klever rt. The rubber is definitely a lot harder than the kenda. I expect them to last a long time. I haven't put a ton of miles on it because my truck has been broken with electrical issues for a good portion of the winter
Reopening this discussion because the truck went back into limp mode. At this point we've replaced the DPF pressure sensor and the accelerator position sensor. After replacing a sensor, it works fine for a while and then eventually fails again. That has to be a clue right? Is there a reset...
Update for anyone else who has this problem. It was the DPF differential pressure sensor. (This was replaced under warranty over the summer) It shares a power supply with the accelerator pedal sensor, so if one sensor has a short circuit the rest will stop working as well.
Shame they couldn't...
So I was going to replace the accelerator sensor, but ended up getting in at the dealer. The dealer determined that it was the accelerator position sensor, and they replaced it. The truck ran fine for ~600 miles.
I then took the vehicle on a trip to Canada, and the issue started happening...
So I have been seeing some intermittent crazy behavior on my truck, (2022 Diesel). It will flash all kinds of lights on the dash - Service throttle control, service cruse control, service forward collision warning etc, and the throttle pedal doesn't operate correctly, it almost seems like its in...
I pulled the trigger and ordered the Maxxis Razr AT. If they are bad, they will become summer tires and I will try something else. They are 3 mountain snowflake rated, for whatever that's worth. I've really liked the kenda klever RT's (non-3MSF) but I actually really disliked nokian LT3 "real"...
That actually sounds really promising. I don't care how long they last. I am looking for soft compound for maximum snow traction and I don't care if I have to buy a set every year. The hope is that in cold weather the tire will be more pliable and the rubber not hardened.
For everything I have...
Has anyone used this tire? Any idea if it is good in the snow? seems like an exceptional value. I have found that some of these cheap tires are actually great in the snow as they are made from a very soft rubber. Downside is they wear very quickly. #1 example of this is the Kenda Klever RT, I...
Does anyone know how frequently regen has to occur to get a P2549 code? since picking up my truck from the dealer on friday, the following has happened:
Picked up at 68490 miles
DPF guage was over ¼ full by 68534 miles
Regen started at 68581 miles (delta 91 miles since picking it up)
Regen...
I agree, FWIW my brother has a 2022 CTD as well and his truck has it worse than mine. how would one go about starting appealing to a higher authority? and I am assuming you aren't talking about praying :)
Well, I will preface this by saying i haven't had time to read all 39 pages of this discussion, but i probably have read half of it.
I am certainly having the frequent regen issue on my 2022 - it's happening once every 100 miles, unless i tow - it might stretch to 150. The issue i am having is...
So I recently had the Y43 "Emissions Recall Particulate Matter Sensor" done on my truck (2022 Diesel SO) and i seem to have picked up the frequent regens issue afterwards. I have never had frequent regens in the past, except for one time i used the wrong air filter, and switching back to the OEM...
Did it work? I had similar behavior and took the truck to the dealer, they spent thousands of dollars replacing actual components, and the issue turned out to be a chafed wire in the harness, discovered 3 weeks later. I think it was in the bundle that sits to the rear of the driver side front...
Seems like that is not applicable to the MY 2022 trucks. I also think this is an electronics issue, the truck thinks that every single system is failing, the guage needles are now moving up and down randomly, the exhaust brake comes on and off randomly, literally nothing electronic works...
Nothing? I swear the worst part about owning these trucks is the dealer support. They can't look at it for 3 weeks and need it for 1 whole week to diagnose/treat this. What am I supposed to drive in he meantime @RamCares
This is what is happening

So I encountered a strange issue with my truck today. 2022 2500 Diesel, 65k miles. I was driving and all the sudden the service power steering light came on, along with a message in the message center. Power steering seem to work fine though. Then I got a message to service automatic emergency...
If you haven't done it yet, weld your front axle shock mounts better than the factory does. If you use your suspension hard, especially in the winter when the shock oil is stiff, you will shear off your shock mounts sooner or later. There are aftermarket mounts available, but a good place to...
