I've been addressing issue with my used/ still new to me 2018 PW. I upgraded the front end; and it came to my attention, I have no idea about the condition of the winch cable. The previous owner beat the crap out of this truck (lead to the trade in) so I figured I might want to swap out the...
The PW was at a dealership the Weds before new years until yesterday. A new style drag link and pittman arm were needed, ordered and installed. I pick it up and drove it through the mother of all rain storms. It feels better so that too some of the sting of paying for the repairs. More upgrades...
After nearly two weeks of conversations with RAMCARES, it's up to me to get the new link and get it installed. They did nothing. Offered nothing, other that I should go to a dealership. So there you go.
Thanks. Frustrated with RAMCARES, dealership. Forty minutes wasted getting dropped, or transferred to wrong dept. All I wanted to do is get follow up on a discussion I was having here with RAMCARES, but it took them several days to get back to me.

Yeah, it's been at least ten years since I went off roading and then that was in a 89 K5 Blazer. I'm looking forward to getting back into it. Thanks for the advice all.
Well, I pulled the trigger. A new to me 2018 PW from Arizona. It has some kind of aftermarket lift, and 37". It also has a electrical gremlin which drains the battery (twice yesterday).
Hi all. I am planning out a 2018 PW for off roading in Pines in NJ. The pines is mostly sandy trails and water obstacles. I've never liked doing rock climbing in a 4x4, (Never wanted the damage). The rig has no sliders or step bars yet, trying to figure out what brand to get. What would you add...
That was my first thought about the large blocks, but I had to ask. This is one pic sent to me (the truck is many miles from me). I also missed the exhaust !!!!:oops:o_O
