You're on the right track, assuming you have a CC 6'4" bed the Power Wagon sliders bolt into the existing holes on the cab for side steps. The brackets will come off with your other side steps and you will reuse the mounting nuts in the cab. You may need more mounting nuts, my truck for example...
A couple of small mod updates, but nothing crazy.
I saw some people here using the Mopar mud flaps here and they looked like a pretty robust but also flexible option. I figured I'd give them a shot and see if they keep the truck and cleaner and keep some of the rocks away. These were pretty...
Yeah I mean they are pretty much just a battery and AC inverter with the ability to charge via solar/DC/etc. A lot are branded as "Solar Generators" a lot as "Portable Power Stations." But I mean just find one that will support the size load you want and throw it back there plugged in to charge...
A little bit of a round about way to do this, but you could get a 'solar generator' to plugin to the inverter. The 'generator' then will charge from the truck, have it's own battery, and most can power up to 1500W or so. I run my fridge/camper lights/heater from one of these, that's then plugged...
I headed over to Allegheny National Forest for a quick hunting/camping trip. I wanted to get out another weekend for a bit more hunting this season, but here in my neck of the woods it's been a very warm Fall. Great for me camping, but really tires the dogs out fast.
This was my first time...
Thanks, yeah it's working out well, it helps I basically got a lot dialed in on my 1500 (even the Wildpeaks) before making the jump to the Power Wagon.
She's a little over 6, great dogs with their own unique personality haha.
Yeah I would imagine it's the same as I'm not aware of another. It's actually longer than the Moonville Tunnel, built out with wood cribbing, and less traveled too than the Moonville tunnel. I didn't realize it was there either on my first trip down there years ago but found it somewhere and...
If you make it back check out the King's Hollow Tunnel. It's another tunnel not too far away that's on the same decomissioned rail line. I almost think it's a more interesting tunnel than the Moonville one.

Depending on the listing it may state as only supporting older years, the Amazon link I had said only up to 2019. That was just outdated listing info since it fit fine and the manual included was updated to be through 2022.
A lot of the stuff in ANF dead ends or is really more of a Forest Service Road that I've found at least. Best bet is to look for the MVUM (Motorized Vehicle Usage Map) the Forest Service puts out, or use a map that pulls in that Data. Personally I use Gaia GPS which has the info as a layer...
Can't complain about another Power Wagon joining the Ohio team!
I can make Monongahela in around 5 hours from the north end of the state so it's not too bad of a trek. That puts it a little bit closer or on par with Michigan, but further than Allegheny National Forest or Wayne National Forest...
On our last day we awoke to a storm which was projected to stick around all day. I continued along on our route to Stuart and Bickle Knob. As we climbed we broke into heavy fog, making a stop at but decided not to hike up the forest road to Stuart Knob. We continued on to Bickle Knob, again in...
Awesome! Yeah that whole area has tons of places to explore. I've made my way out there a few other times and still haven't seen probably even 25% of what the area has to offer. I might be getting to shoe horn a stop to the New River Gorge though soon on another trip, which I'm looking forward to.
At Todd lake I slightly rerouted our next day to cut out a little bit of double backing and had us set out on some main roads. A great benefit of this is I found we would be passing Fort Edward Johnson which was a civil war era confederate fort. There were some great views and even some of the...
From camp in the morning we loaded back up in the Power Wagon and began the climb up to Flagpole knob.

After taking in the views for a bit we headed over to Reddish Knob and had lunch.

First trip out for the new Power Wagon was to the Monongahela and George Washington National Forests, we took some time off work and enjoyed the outdoors for a bit. The trip contained some revisited spots along with a bunch of new exploring.
To start off the trip off we climbed up the forest...
Thanks! Yeah that would be a solid product, I think at full MSRP the OEM side steps make no sense, but if you can get them cheap they are a good option. I do wish these had a bit more of a step but they work well enough to keep $1,300 plus shipping in my pocket.
