‘21 3500 CCLB 4x4 HEMI battery randomly dying - help please

Hello all, The battery in my truck occasionally goes stone cold dead overnight. I replaced the original battery this past June at 15K miles as it went randomly dead twice. We were going on an extended RV adventure so I figured it was 4 years old and I didn’t want to worry about it on the...

52112731AE Rear Bumper Harness Wire Functions

Thanks for the reply. While the trailer wiring is part of this harness, it’s a different section. There are two large plugs on the drivers side that the rear bumper plugs into the truck with. I noticed on one of my wires the insulation got frayed somehow. I shrink wrapped it with tubing...

    Towing with new 6.4L

Asking for opinions: when you tow “smaller” trailers around 4,000 lbs or less, do you use Tow/Haul? In hilly terrain or when I want more engine braking I definitely turn it on, but I’ve noticed on absolutely flat roads when towing my smaller trailers in Tow/Haul the truck usually won’t go into...

Lets see those crew cab long boxes!

My factory Transforce A/T’s were near the wear bars at 16K. Went on Tire Rack and they had BFG KO2’s on clearance for $278 each with the discount and an $80 instant rebate. They’re a little more “off-roady” than I would’ve gotten otherwise but for that price I couldn’t pass them up!

    Bridgestone Dueler A/T Ascent’s

My factory installed Transforce A/T’s were near the wear bars at a little over 16K miles. I’ve been researching what to get next and liked these new Ascents and decided on them when my next paycheck arrived. I went on Tire Rack last week to order these exact tires. I decided to take one last...

Did ram just lower towing ratings for 25 and 3500 vehicles?

I just looked and you’re correct - looks like they removed the section to input your vin. The mystery deepens lol…

Did ram just lower towing ratings for 25 and 3500 vehicles?

My ‘21 3500 CCLB 4x4 HEMI went down slightly tow-rating wise but payload stayed exactly the same. WTF Ram?!?! I’m glad I took a screenshot of the numbers they published when I first got the truck compared to today…

    Towing with new 6.4L

Hello! Is this similar to your trailer? https://www.westernrangecamps.com/camp-models/page/2/ If so, I’ve never heard of them before - looks very nice! My question is: how do you know the weight of 9,300 lbs? Is that the GVWR or the dry weight? You can be surprised how quickly the weight...

    LED light in tailgate handle

Hello! I was asking the person with the white truck if those 3 parts are what’s needed to install this light. The handle part number I posted was for a textured black handle from earlier in this thread. Sorry if there was any confusion.

    Towing with new 6.4L

I’m not BS-ing, actually when going downhill if you shift to neutral you’ll use more gas. If you take your foot off in gear (or coast downhill in cruise) the truck shuts off the fuel flow automatically. It goes from ECO mode then to fuel shut off and it shows 99 mpg. Neutral idles the truck on...
