@Jimmy07 this is all that I’m working with wire/plug wise. I haven’t seen any unused ones in the dash.

I will check when I get home for these connectors. Hopefully they are there. Thank you for the information. EDIT: I pulled out the radio bezel I didn’t any obvious taped up unused connections. Is this still something that can be added?

No mentions of any inverters and the one guy who added the console with the rear inverter has never replied back.

Can you see the rear heated seat control module anywhere? Also do you have the ambient lighting under the rear seats?

I would hazard a guess that it’s similar to the rear console of the center console. It snaps in with multiple tabs but the cup holders on that have to be removed. I’d help if I could.

There are a total of 6 10mm bolts that hold it in. Two are below the radio bezel and the four are in the body next to the seats. This video is for a 1500 but it’s exactly the same for the 2500. I will take some pictures for you when I pull mine out if no one else posts them in the meantime...

So effectively I would have to find a way to get wiring out of the door module and plug into the convex mirror switch?

I guess I wasn’t really thinking it all the way through originally, if I did get the mirrors how would they actually plug into the switch? If I remember correctly from my passive entry addition, all the wires go into the control module then a wiring harness plugs into the window control panel...

Well thankfully I don’t have a rear window so I would only be using buttons up there to release the tailgate if needed.

I have these plugs under both rear seats and I’m very curious as to what they are for. I’m about to be having leather seats installed and I’m wanting to add the heating pads during the process. Could this be where the rear heated seats get plugged into? It’s a harness plugged into a connector...

Did you get it? I can’t remember exactly how I got mine but I got the rubber part at the top off which made things a little easier. Also can’t tell from your photo but make sure you have the backing off where you change the battery at.

Hmm, would probably help if I wasn’t inept when it comes to electrical stuff like that or wiring. Any ideas where would a good place to wire in that switch? I would assume both lights are tethered to one wire at some point in their harness.

I also would be interested if your mirrors are non chrome. Also would be very interested in seeing the wiring when/if you remove them. I want to see how the power convex mirror is plugged into the wiring.

I agree. @Jimmy07 is it somehow possible to isolate the wiring for the signature light itself? Or is it part of something bigger? I wouldn’t mind an aftermarket switch tucked under the dash for these rare occasions.
