Here is what we saw after removing the DPF filter from the truck last night. The truck was flooded before and I think the rusted parts shows the water level.
Yes, I did. I let it run in front of my driveway and went inside. When I came back AlfaOBD stated that it has already finished it, however the dashboard was still showing 40%. When I started to drive it started to drop the percentage after normal regen was initiated. It was a very hectic week...
can I do this procedure while towing? I am planning a trip to Valdez this weekend. I will definitely have some distance to do it on the way there if it is possible while towing.
Update.
Yesterday, after I put the new filter I did the procedure for MAF sensor calibration below. It was not perfect, but I did it 4 times with 10+ min engine off. I noticed that "normalized trigger for DPF regen" started to climb and reached 98% during the process. Then it stopped there and...
I don't have warranty on this truck. I have Bypass cable and AlfaOBD. I tried to do forced regen on AlfaOBD, but it complained that conditions for that weren't met. I would appreciate any help.
I got this message yesterday and after that truck is even not trying to do a regen. The DPF filter is at 100%. The filter that I ordered should arrive next week.
Is there anything I can do to get regen started?
I am not sure I understand what you are saying. I would expect that rear will read less, not more. The pressure source is coming from engine exhaust in front side of the pipes and as the gasses pass through the components they lose pressure on each stage and on exit would equal to atmospheric...
I have this strange behavior of my truck’s dashboard. When I turn off the truck the dashboard goes black as expected, but if I just stay inside and wait for a min or so it will start going into a loop with lights coming up and turning off. It pretty much goes between these three attached...
Thank you for your response! I will try it as soon as I get my air filter delivered.
Interesting that your DPF filter is at 85%. I thought that it is forced to regen when it reaches 40% or so.
I am half way through this topic and have not read all the posts, but I would like to she what I experienced today.
I have the same problem with frequent regens. I changed oil, fuel filters, ccv filter and air filter. My air filter is incorrect one and I changed it when I received my truck from...
I have similar problems. My truck is doing regen every 50 miles or so. when I copnnected OBD fusion app it showed that I have these two codes below:
P2459 - Particulate Filter Regeneration Frequency Bank 1
P20EE - SCR NOx Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 1 Catalyst 1
What strange is...
