You are right. I went back and looked at their website. The one you ordered fits Laramie and down. The trim levels above Laramie take the 3.11 version. I was thinking it said Big Horn and down. Nothing like reading comprehension.
Ram 1500/2500/3500 Center Console Truck Safe: 2019-2026 (3.89"...
I recently installed a Console Vault in my Big Horn. I went with it over the Tuffy because I like the way it mounts better. If I remember right, The higher measurement max fill line is for the Tradesman and Big Horn. The higher trim levels use the shorter one. I don’t remember seeing a reason...
That is a good question I have been hoping someone would discuss. I have a 2025 myself. I am guessing we could physically mount the tank in place of the stock unit. I would also guess the fuel gauge would be off a bit, but would work. The distance to empty likely won’t be remotely close if that...
Thanks for the comment. I did see something about grounding to the block in the 2023 body builders info, after I made the original post. I will have to see where on the block I can attach the ground. There is so much crap on these 6.4 engines it is hard to see a good ground spot.
I hope someone gets this figured out. I need to get snow rated tires before winter, and I want to go bigger when I do. If and when someone comes out with a bigger gas tank for the non diesel crowd I want one, but not until I can change the tank size for it.
Has anyone installed a winch on a 2025 Ram HD truck? I just completed installing a Vice Design hidden mount with Warn winch on my new Big Horn. The last thing I had to do was to attach the winch ground to the battery negative terminal.
As I was going to do this I realized there is something...
I picked up my new truck today. Everything I ordered is there. I thought the bed step and another thing or two might be missing due to parts shortages, but fortunately, that is not the case. So far everything works as it should. Hopefully it will stay that way. I don’t have 100 miles on it yet.
My dealer called today. My truck has cleared inspection in Mechanicville NY and should be at the dealer any time in the next week. Unless of course the truck doesn’t pick it up.
My truck shipped on April 19th. From then until a couple of days ago the tracker showed TBD. I figured it would never change. I checked it yesterday and it now shows a delivery date of July 3rd. I guess it is getting close.
My truck showed estimated delivery dates up until the day it shipped, April 19. Since then the tracker only shows TBD for the estimated delivery date. My dealer emailed to tell me he expected it to arrive in Rhode Island on about June 8th. From there it will wait for a truck ride to me in...
I just received an email from my sales guy. He says my truck will be landing in Davisville (Rhode Island???) on or about the 8th. He says from there it is normally a couple of weeks for travel by truck to here, in Vermont. It sounds like I should have it about the end of June.
