    It took me a while to get back to this... There is no adjustment where the step bolts down. I did take the steps off, removed the end cap, cut the step rail back 1", redrilled and reinstalled the caps. Looks great now with about 3/4" clearance from the running board end cap to the mud flap.

    That right. With these side steps, the step pushes the flap forward a bit and made it harder to install. It hasn't bothered me enought yet to take it off or modify the step, but I was a little disappointed and thought others may want to know before ordering.

    I've thought that too. To do it right, I think I need to take the boards back off the truck and I just haven't been that motivated quite yet.

    Fyi... I just got and installed my Weathertech no drills yesterday and although I like the style, the fronts conflict and have contact with factory Ram side steps. I was able to install them with some tweaking, but they are pushed forward with the steps. Not sure I’m going to keep them on.
