I finally had the new sliders installed at Dethloff mfg. for my 2022 Power wagon. Great fit and finish and the tread step top plate provides easy access while not being to aggressive. Thanks Marcus
I was thinking it would be nice to have a place to post pictures of our PW adventures out in the wild with no Urban pictures. Each time someone goes to a new area to highlight the trip. Thoughts?
I finally put my extended length Carli sway bar links in to keep my longer Metal Cloak Dual Rate springs from coming out of the stock perches at high articulation. They end up abut 3 inches longer than stock and much beefier. Longer springs allow more articulation in the rear.
This is my method of upping the payload on my 2022 PW. I purchased a rear set of Metal CLoak game changer 3.5 inch lift coils for a 2500 diesel. These have a higher capacity than the stock PW springs and would end up adding about 1 inch of height. I cut the top coil off of the tighter winding...
All Ram Hd parts are 25% off during March. Lift kits, springs, shocks etc. I ordered some +3.5 rear coils for my Power Wagon which with the PW already raised 2inches in back from factory it should be a modest increase but with a higher rated capacity spring.
Dethloff mfg. has added some new skid plate offerings. A replacement for the 3 bar setup and a heavier transfer case skid plate. Just giving out a heads up.
Wondering if anyone has tried the Dynatrac or Yukon Gear front locking hub kits. I have put some on my XJ Jeep and they really improved the overall driving after installing front locker in the XJ. If anyone has installed them what kind of MPG improvement did you see?
Just browsing Metal Cloaks website and they have 30% off all the Ram HD suspension systems and components during the month of May . I do not see them talked about much but looks like they have some pretty good stuff.
I have a 2022 PW used for overlanding. I have been conscious of how much weight is added with each step. With Rack, RTT and all other in bed add ons I am at less than 650lbs. I should have no problem staying within payload range. I have noticed the famous rear end wag more with the added weight...
I replaced my soft trifold bed cover with a BakX2 revolver cover. Now I can securely lock everything in. It fit perfect for my rotopaks mounted on Icky concept panels. I am waiting for a Putco low profile Tec rail with cross bars to mount a RTT just barely over the top of the rolled up cover. It...
I think this new package will probably raid Power wagon sales by at least half. Not as capable off road as a PW but has much higher GVW and trailering specs plus the Cummins motor. It has a general look of the Power Wagon now. What do you think?
