As you may have seen in my build thread, I gave up on trying to rebuild these shocks and went and bought a set of Bilstein 5100s
So here's your chance to get a set of Thuren tuned Fix 2.0 IFP shocks.
You can try and rebuild them yourself. Or send them to Fox or some other place for a rebuild...
So I'm at 100K on my 21 PW and time for major maintenance.
Looking on line and YouTube, I can't find anything about a fuel filter and where it is
Google AI bot says it's part of the fuel pump and is a life time filter.
Anyone know for sure? I haven't crawled under the truck to look just yet...
So I just upgraded my phone and got a Google Pixel 10XL.
Had a Samsung before and never saw this issue
Since I upgraded phones, did the bluetooth connect and gave both full permissions, I have not been able to receive text messages on u connect from another phone.
I have gotten text from my Dr...
So heres the basics.
'21 75th PW.
35" Kenda Kevlar.
Currently have Power Stop extreme tow brake set up. Drilled and slotted rotors. Have been on for about 20K miles.
93K miles on truck.
Brakes have always been tight and great breaking.
So was out on a 1600 mile road trip. Yesterday we drove...
I know this has been discussed forever, but saw something interesting on my oil bottles.
Im still stuck in the past and change my oil every 5K miles. Old habits are hard to break.
I've used Castrol Edge full syn oil since day one. Truck now has 90K miles and no issues.
But today, when changing...
So I broke down and went back to Baja for the Baja 400.
1600 mile round trip from Reno to Baja.
Had some fun. But we DNFed the race at RM 180 where I was to pit the truck. Cooling component cracked and failed. JB weld didn't hold, so we were out.
On a side note. Filled with Reno gas and got...
So I took my race radio out of the truck. But now I'm going back to help for the Baja 400 and need to put it back in for the one race.
So I'm looking for some place inside the cab where I can get a constant 12VDC for the radio. At least 15 Amps. Don't need anything permanent. Will have a I line...
Need to pull my bumper and that requires taking off the fairlead. Mine is a '21 and has Allen bolts in it, not Torx.
Anyone know for sure what size Allen is needed.
I measure it and get 12.4MM or 31/64.
1/2" is too big.
Thanks
I need new tires.
So what would you choose and why with these 2 new tires?
I live 2 miles down a dirt road.
I see snow, rain and mud throughout the year.
My current tires are Mickey Thompson Baja Boss. I've run KO2s for years.
But now I'm in a different enviroment.
So I'm looking at replacing all of the tie rod ends on my '21 Power Wagon.
The drag link and the steering link.
But I'm running into an issue trying to find replacement Tie Rod ends.
Are the ends replaceable?
Or do I have to replace the whole thing?
Any links provided would help.
So I bought a light panel and switches to control my off road lights.
There are 4 switch's.
1 for rear flood lights.
1 for amber running lights.
2 for off road lights. High and low.
I have 4 lights I will be mounting.
The light switches need about 1.5 inches in the rear of the panel to fit...
So I'm getting severe tire cupping on the front tires.
2021 75th Power Wagon.
61K miles.
Factory bead lock rims.
MT Baja Boss 35x12.50R17. A out 30K Mike's on them now.
At first sign, I rotated tires and had alingmet rechecked. Set it to Thuren specs, which I've been running since the truck had...
had a thought this morning and wondering if anyone else has had the same thought or has done it.
On the "beadlock" ring, there are 8 more holes in the rim that were not drilled in the ring. I got to thinking about drilling the holes and adding the extra 8 bolts, just for a looks perspective. I...
Well it looks like the time has finally come. Things are in motion and moving fast.
After 43 years of playing Sailor, its time to change course and pull into port for the final time. I'm hanging up my Dixie cup hat, and putting on my Cowboy boots and moving to the mountains.
My official...
