Really interested to see what price is going to be on that front skid/light mount. I right now have the plug just hanging out in front of my PW since I had it plugged in a few days when we got down into the -30/-40s here. That would be a much cleaner install. I also love how low you get those...
I love the concept of the Air-topper, but they have themselves priced too high. When a softopper is about 3x cheaper, it is a harder sell.
I have a few products made of that same material, and it doesn't pack up small either and gets stained really easily.
I'm on 37s and yeah there was a bit of loose of acceleration and brakes, but after a few days, I never noticed it.
It's still the most fun off the line in my garage: 2021 BMW X5 - 2005 Jeep LJ Rubicon on 35s (4.88 gears)
I've been thinking about doing something similar with my PowerWagon. My truck is white, giving a good idea of what it could look like. Not sure about the hood, but it's kind of cool.
In the past, I've used Monstaliner for interiors and like its texture. I think it would work well here and comes...
My Power Wagon 3C6TR5EJ5NG244318 showed up on 06/29!
Ordered on 01/13 -- It was a Canadian order so shipping took a tad longer. The most frustrating thing was it sat in the rail yard about 100km from me for almost 2 weeks before making the final journey.
The trade-in -- 2016 Ram 1500...
A bit of a frustrating update on my Power Wagon order from 2022-01-13
It is 60 miles away and has been there for 10 days at the railyard ready to go to the dealership but the dealership says they have no ETA on when they will be able to get it. I had hoped it would move over the weekend or at...
I have Grabber AT/X 37s on AEV rims in my garage what are going on my PW when it shows up next week. I'll report back how well they fit.. They look huge. I have 35 Grabber X3s on my Jeep and these look so much bigger.
Edit: just heard from the dealership and doesn't look like I'm getting my...
I'm not using Switch pros harness but I do have my ARB wired differently.
I got rid of all the ARB wiring since I only use it for airing up.
* ARB goes directly to the battery for power with an inline fuse -- It requires a bit of power so my ARB and Fuseblock(s) are the only after-market that...
I was also using an old BS link: https://www.ramtrucks.com/webselfservice/BuildSheetServlet?vin=3c6TR5EJ5NG244318 looks like the sheet now uses https://www.chrysler.com/webselfservice/BuildSheetServlet?vin=3C6TR5EJ5NG244318 and ramtrucks.com doesn't get populated until a later date.
There is...
As of Friday my estimated ship date was still May 5th.. Was hoping to see it built yesterday or today.. Not feeling so confident on that date but great to see PWs being built around mine and hoping my number comes up!
The dealer might be able to get you an estimated ship date. I think we've seen those to be fairly accurate once they are within a couple of weeks of the current date. Mines scheduled to ship on May 5th so I'm really hoping that means I'll see it build this week!
It is too bad RamChat doesn't...
The Flatlink E allows you to pass a hard shackle through the device. Hard shackle on hard shackle is often discouraged in certain circles. The one you posted is really ok it is just the E version is only a few more dollars and I think has a huge advantage.
Edit: We've also found that thick...
I've found the FlatLink E to be much more useful if you are recovering other people. If the person being recovered has metal d-rings on their front bumper you need to use flatlink to soft shackle to bumper shackle. Or run your soft shackle through their bumper which often has sharp metal edges...
