Thanks for the recommendation! Ordered on amazon should be delivered tomorrow. Do you take the sticker off first and use on the adhesive only or just have at it on the whole thing?
That looks fricking clean, now I know what to look forward to. I got the tailgate done, then a storm decided to pass through so I have to wait to do the front doors.
In the land of subaru’s, prisuses and tesla’s the truck already sticks out like a sore thumb, I already got questioned at the...
No turning back now! Got to hand it to Ram they sure know how to make stickers, no matter how much or little heat majority of the adhesive remain on the body vs sticker ( going to need a lot of goo gone) Already liking the look already.
stickers almost gon….dad joke!
Anybody successfully remove the “Power Wagon” decals off the front doors and tailgate of the 75th anniversary wagons? Ive never really been a big fan of stickers and thinking it will look much cleaner without them.
Cheers!
Oh perfect!! I have the BFG KO2 in the same size and I think they run smaller. Maybe the clearance is deceiving and i have more space than it looks. Thank you all for the confirmation gives me more confidence to reorder.
Thanks that gives me more hope, I really want to fix that drifting issue. Is the heat shield still on as well? And is the diameter of the thuren bar the same as the round section of the oem? I have some space if its the same size but would be cutting it close.
Back to the drawing board…after I had placed my order I went out and took a peek underneath the truck and remembered i crammed a 35in spare there. The OEM track bar is ground flat and avoids the spare (barely). The thuren track bar doesnt incorporate the flat side so figured there would be...
Im hoping it fixes 4). I have a similar setup as you stock suspension,35’s, etc. Occasionally when taking sweeping curves it feels like the back end of truck is straying from my lane (pulling away from me) its the best i can describe it. Definitely not the best feeling in the world especially in...
For those of you with the rear bumper, did any of you retain the oem bed step? I had it before i installed mine, but didnt think it would be compatible. Now im regretting selling it before giving it a go. Im not the tallest guy in the world so getting up into the bed is a chore and contemplating...
For option two, what about adding a length of coiled copper tubing close to somewhere warm in the engine bay, which will give you enough reserve heated washer to get ice/slush off?
Im glad im not the only one! The magnification is crazy! It looks like the car is right next to you when its really 2-3 car lengths back, ive been relying primarily on the blind spot mirrors to gauge distance.
Right now its nothing fancy since I only air up the bags when the bed is fully loaded with gear. The switch is momentary so i eyeball the rear end as I air up, if i really need to dial it down to an exact psi i can check via schrader valves. Been contemplating adding the arb pressure control...
Cab noises (rattles, squeaks, creaks) bother me to no end, my wife just tells me to just turn up the radio but i can never let it go haha. I found the best cure for noises is adhesive foam sheets. I can cut them to size and sandwich them between panels and tight spaces, and being adhesive backed...
Thank you!!
Definitely a valid concern when it come to heat! I was a little more comfortable this time around since ive been running the same set up in my other rig for the past couple years and still have not run into any issues.
Here are a couple more pics of the set up when i was doing the...
Thank you! Apologies in advance for the crude diagram (im horrible at drawing)
I basically have 1 main line going from the compressor to a manifold connected via quick coupler. I purposely designed it that way in the event something goes wrong downstream, I can quickly disconnect the line and...
