Recently I started seeing a large banner ad on the forum. I'm not sure why it has suddenly sprung into view.
Do I just need to put an adblocker on this site or is there another recommended course of action?
They should fit fine. You might get some slight rubbing at full steering lock but I doubt it if you stick with the stock wheels. The 295/70R18 tire is only 1.1" taller & 0.8" wider than the stock Transforce tires which, I agree, SUCK.
I am about to upgrade my tires to that size soon.
It's a message that means the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) is active.
Electronic Stability Control (ESC) in a Ram truck uses sensors to detect potential loss of control, such as skidding, and intervenes by applying individual wheel brakes and reducing engine power to help the driver...
My 2024 2500 has this same outside wear on the Transforce tires. I've got about 12K miles on it and it has a bit of a right side pull as well.
New tires are going on soon & I will give those Thuren specs to the alignment shop. I don't think I will have a problem with the shop using them...
The 5th Gen HD Ram TPMS system is a temperamental beast and I have the same problem...it lights up that TP light in the dash with the least amount of provocation. You have to air up past the lowest TPMS pressure threshold (I think that is 65PSI all around on a 3500) then you can air back down to...
How about aftermarket LED units that plug into the OEM halogen/incandescent harness?
I have a set of Morimoto LED taillights on my 2024. They look great, work like a champ and have hung in there through rain, high ambient heat and dusty unimproved roads.
For Sale is a set of four (4) OEM Ram 2500 18” aluminum wheels including lug nuts, wheel caps & boxes. No TPMS sensors are included.
Fits Ram 2500 trucks from 2011 through 2024 including gasoline & diesel engines. Will also fit earlier 3RD generation 2500 trucks, however, the lug nut thread...
Finally got the tailgate emblem sticky tape (Why oh Why does USPS try to send your package to the ends of the earth and back???) so the emblem is now installed.
After I did the wheel swap I had the option of going with chrome or black centercaps. The chrome didn't look bad but the chrome...
Just before the wheel swap I changed out the hood emblems. I wasn't a real fan of the chrome/black/red configuration that were on the truck.
The tailgate emblem swap is still in progress. The package, shipped to me via USPS from a small town in Arizona to my place in a small town in...
Swapped out my stock 18" plain Jane aluminum wheels for some Longhorn wheels. Same diameter, bolt pattern, offset, etc...
It looks much better, IMHO.
Here are the original OEM wheels:
Here are the Longhorn wheels:
Mine is reliable and accurate now. Initially I was very unhappy with the FTE problem. I found the issue was a faulty extractor. S&W sent me a new one, I installed it, and the firearm has been super reliable ever since.
