My new toyhauler has a GVWR of 11,500 lbs.
I've loaded it with my SxS, full of fuel, fuel station full, tools, all my camping/kitchen stuff, full water tanks and it weighs 12,000 lbs
Should I shed some weight or will the 500 lbs be ok and fall within some leeway I think most manufacturers...
Are trailer gain settings pretty consistent across all types of trucks?
Like if I have it set to 3.5 on the Ram, would my son in his GMC set it to 3.5 as well? Or would the gain setting be different and have to readjust?
...for both towing and not towing.
Currently I run 65 front and 80 rear per spec, but unloaded this truck rides pretty rough.
I was thinking of going 50 front and 60 rear for everyday use and then bumping back up to spec when towing.
Or can anyone suggest a tire pressure I could run front...
I'm having a hard time finding its weight, Ive got conflicting info and am looking to find out a real world weight. 2021 3500 4x4 with 6.7 diesel, 6'4" box...what should it weigh???
...with the cab clearance lights. On my 21 3500, with the headlamp switch set to "auto", the clearance lights are always on with the daytime running lights.
Is this normal?
...after only 1,000 miles it looks like this?
Brand new 3500, my first diesel. Is it normal for the oil to be so dark after only 1,000 miles or so? In my 18 Sport the oil would look clean for the longest time...
Got an engine light after putting some diesel in my truck via a Jerry can. Read the code as it had some to do with emissions/evap, but I cleared it before I should have written down the code.
Does this sound right to you? Could it just have been a fluke coincidence?
Haven't had a chance to go through all the threads, but I put my Pedal Commander in my new 3500 from my 18 Sport.
Makes a big difference, but being new to diesels, is this something I should even do?
Just picked up a 21 3500, and to my surprise the receiver is a different size. 2 1/2 inch verses my normal 2" receiver.
I found under the rear seat a sleeve to put in so I can use my 2" draw bar, but the receiver pin is too short.
If ordering one off amazon, what would the correct length be?
