Ok this is a new one to me, I’m well into my 50’s and been working on cars/bikes all my life and never ran into this issue… ever and I drove a lot of rust buckets in my 20’s.
I had the truck into the dealer yesterday to get new tires mounted, balanced, alignment and the tech reporting that some...
Well had a new one yesterday, left the racetrack after camping all weekend and only got a single squirt from the windshield wipers. Odd but at least the windshield was clean.
Once home, popped the hood and had the wife hit the washer… dumb idea. Instantly drenched from the stray coming...
Well someone has finally (unless I missed it) done a proper test of the Banks Monster Ram vs stock/BD grid heater comparison:
Spoiler, it can’t handle Canadian winters… maybe California…
Unless Banks can figure this out, I’ll stick with the stock/BD kit for when my warranty is up...
After replacing both my batteries, and turning on the voltmeters on my CTS3 edge, dashboard and setting alarms, I have noticed during the cold weather on initial start up while idling there is a relay that is activating every five seconds sounds like it’s near the center of the dash towards the...

Checking with...
Just had this happen over the weekend heading out camping. Truck was at 40% or so DPF full on EVIC, automatic Regen started. Just a few moments later it went to 60%, 75% and then bam 100% DPF Filter full message and of course Regen stopped. Thankfully the reduced power was still more than...
For AlphaODB Windows - Do we need to install the bypass cable/kit in order to use the PM Sensor Regeneration (Force Regen) feature?
Getting the "No Data Received from ECU/Interface", wasn't sure if we needed the bypass for this.
Well this isn't off to a great start... I had the radio touch screen "freeze" the other week (full shutdown of truck fixed that for now) and Saturday got the Check Engine Light. Thankfully had a Kiwi ODBII reader with me so I was able to pull the codes and clear them to see if they come back...
Discovered this new device thanks to this forum. Their website is www.voltsafe.com and they are starting to be sold in a few store chains in Canada and the USA.
My order arrived today, shipped out quick from the manufacturer even though they used Canada Post (regular mail, usually not a good...
