The Ram 2500 was not scoring as good as its competitors that were being tested. I doubt it will be a favorite as a patrol vehicle. I can see Departments maybe getting one or 2 for specialized tasks like search and rescue or ADOT enforcement that need some payload to carry equipment.

I'm all in favor of Ram selling more trucks... but lets be honest this is just a 2500 tradesman. I was bored with TFL's review video.

What would make it interesting is if RAM used the opportunity to make the trucks resistant to water depth capability - "top of the tires".

So no special maintenance after doing it - just resistant and capable as a non issue.

Probably would require the diesel to pull it off, as well as connector upgrades inside and out.
