2025 Ram 3500 Edge Insight CTS3 Monitor

So I just noticed that the EDGE facebook page posted that they now support the 2026/26 ram cummins on the CTS3, have you all tried to update to see if it is working correctly? I wonder if all they had to change was software vs somthing hardware related? I had one of the AI boxes that plugged into the Uconnect usb port that would stay on long after my truck turned off, so I found one of these cables that has a hardwired switch that passes power and data throught USBA cord. It hasn't arrived yet, so I don't know if it will work, but perhaps there is a hard switch that we can wire inline with CTS3 that will allow us to push a button to kill it? Just thoughts.

Thank you for letting us know! I got tired of refreshing their website every day. And even now, their website still doesn't show that it's supported. I just updated mine and will post an update today or tomorrow on how the shut-off and battery drain does. They do now have the Trans Gear and Lockup status available, too!

They have released 6 updates so far this year ( that i have seen ) , I just did a short test and with #6 it does shut off when you open the door to get out
And "Wakes Up " after you start the engine. I have not left it connected yet to see if it kills the battery.

Per the Edge folks responding to the post, they claim that it does address the auto on/off issue

Took the truck for its first spin with the updates. The Gear/TCL isn't perfect. It shows the truck go from 2nd to Park to 3rdLocked.
They also changed the EGT from "Bank X Sensor X" to just EGT 1, EGT 2, etc. Somehow my screen still has my old EGT 11, 12, etc. on it. I need to figure out what their new names are.
Screen shuts off almost as soon as I open the door. Will measure voltage tonight and again tomorrow to see if it drops at all.
Bout dang time! They'd promised me at one point these updates would be here in August.

Did the latest update, and mine shuts off as soon as the door is opened. Finally, I can use the dang thing. Anyone know the best EGT sensors to monitor?

Did the latest update last night using the device over Wi-Fi. Shuts off as soon as I open the door. I did select their EGT1 but it seems to be delayed in changing the temperature. I switched it back to EGT1-SAE which is located under the advanced pids section. This is the temperature I’ve always used. I do like that transmission fluid temperature is shown, it opens up my gauges on the dash. I can’t seem to find it, but I know an older version I had would Auto shut down the monitor once voltage reached a preset lower limit. It would be nice to still have that function for peace of mind. If the screen doesn’t turn off, I can set it to 12.8 V or something. I’ve just lost faith as it’s cost me a set of batteries.
