Truck won't start! Have replaced battery 4 times in 34,000 miles New 4 Year Battery and Alternator is functioning as designed. Have purchased a Battery Monitor and a Jump Box so I don't get stranded. Truck will start as soon as it is jumped. Runs great once started. Anyone having this issue on their 2022 RAM Bighorn with the 6.4L engine? It's a shame I've purchased a 70K truck where I need to carry Jumper Cables and a Jump Box so I don't get stranded.

You have a parasitic draw somewhere.
4 1/2 years and 105K miles in mine. Replaced battery around the 3 year mark.
According to the Battery Monitor I installed I'm not getting a parasitic drain on the battery beyond what is normal. Normally overnight my battery goes from 100% charged to about 96-98% charged. If I leave it set a couple days (given the cold weather) I've had the battery down to as low as 78%, but the truck started as it should have. On several occasions when the battery was at 93-98% it wouldn't start the truck, only a click. But as soon as I put a Jump Box or Jump with another vehicle it starts right up. It's almost like the battery has a bad cell, but I've had the battery tested as well as replaced. I've also checked the wiring to the starter and can find zero loose connections.

I had the same thing last weekend after the truck sat for about 5 days. I thought it was a parasitic draw as well. I jumped it, cleared codes and then it started just fine. I think my 12v socket was the culprit as I have a RV camera screen plugged into it and it was set to always on. I switched the fuse so that the 12v socket is ignition switched.

That said, I have seen as much as .5 amp draw with the engine off and everything asleep.

I ended up throwing a high end AGM batter in the truck and got rid of the flooded battery that came from the factory.

We’ll see if I keep having battery drain issues.

Check your starter cable again. But this time undo the nut clean the connector and the tighten it really good. That was my issue with sporadically not starting.

I Replaced my Dealership trash battery with an AGM Battery. Better Battery at half the cost. Dealership replaced my factory battery with a 2 Year Battery because it was sill under warranty. It lasted about 14 months. I now have an AGM 4 Year Battery for $189. Dealership never diagnosed the problem just replaced the battery. Regardless, I still have the occasional starting problem.

Going back to my JR. High School Science days.... (57 years ago LOL) I started thinking about how metal shrinks when it gets cold (Starting Issues have only happened during the Winter months) and the advice I received here on the Forum while waiting for my truck to be built. OPEN THE HOOD AND SEAT HE FUSES!!! Well I did indeed start seating the fuses in the fuse box when I arrived at the dealership to take possession because they were only partially seated. The Maintenance Manger interrupted my process wondering if I was having problems. I stated "No, I was going over a checklist I created, checking things off I needed to complete before I signed for the truck". He was impressed with my "Checklist" and asked if he could have a copy and we proceeded to the copy machine to make copies. I never got back to the fuse box. A few days ago I went back to the fuse box and started pushing fuses. Fuse #F07 which allows power to the "Started Solenoid" was not fully seated. Hmmmm.... Just maybe this is the problem. So Far, So Good!

Hard to say…I think my issue was the 12v socket. Yes, it has been very cold but the day my truck wouldn’t start it had been warmer that week. Supposed to be -20 wind chill tonight.
