Hi there, in 2025 purchased a used 2022 2500 6.7 Limited Megacab in Patriot Blue which was pretty hard to find-that's another story. Fully stock other than leveled with M/Ts, tinted and all badges deleted except the badging on the hood. Pic below pre de-badging. I really like the truck except for a couple exterior appearance items. Crowdsourcing some opinions.

Understand I am probably in the minority, but the Night edition mirrors, black tow hooks, grille, black rubber window moldings (which houses the a exterior rubber seal against the glass), and lack of any side molding (coupled with me deleting the badging) looks pretty cheap--crazy to me STLA charges more for arguably less and cheaper appearance features of the Night edition but whatever. I really like the Night edition painted door handles and the different headlights, darker headlights, painted bumpers and the gunmetal interior trim.

Ideally, I would have the following:

Polished tow hooks
Limited non-Night edition radiator Grille
Painted or Chrome side mirrors (why this is not an option is insane)
Chrome "Limited" side moldings and chrome window moldings
And perhaps the non-Night limited wheels. On the fence with this one though.

In other words, some chrome but selective. Ordering MOPAR factory chrome items seems a bit expensive and dumb - the side moldings are taped on so probably no choice there. Thoughts? Just live with this? How do you all even find the finish details right part numbers on the part sites when there are no color or real pictures?

Welcome to HDRAMS.

Unfortunately, one of the member's that was looking up parts for everyone software stopped working... Not sure who else has access to a sub.

If you can find a matching truck non night edition VIN, you might be able to lookup most of the parts by VIN.

Also feel free to post an WTT in the BST forum (please review those rules).

Ouch. As a fellow 2022 Patriot blue night edition megacab Ram owner I do like the way it looks but to each their own.

I found a truck on cars that has some of what I think you are looking for. Should also give you an idea as to what it might look like.
VIN: 3C63R3PL1RG100015

Another 2022 night edition here in Patriot blue. I fought like hell to find one, because I wanted zero chrome haha

Ideally, the parts department at a dealer would be able to help you out, but if your local dealership is anything like mine that may be a reach.

It’s worth a shot. Could even consult a collision repair shop, as they likely have experience ordering what you’re looking for. Good luck.

Night Edition vehicles were cool the first 500 times I saw them, now it's been done to death. Especially blacked out wheels.
Chrome does provide a hard, easy to maintain surface. Our Lincoln has polished stainless steel trim, that's the way to go in my opinion.
You should be able to easily find people more than happy to swap parts with you.

I really like actual hard chrome coating.

I just don’t care for the “chromed” plastics. My old GM grille peeling itself apart kinda soured me on it.

Completely agree - very overdone. The black wheels look so cheap. Same with crappy black plastic mirrors. I would be much more open to the Night Edition if the trim was anodized or "black chrome". Nope - just plastic.

I can't believe anyone would want chrome on these trucks! I think that looks cheap. Whatever floats your boat, though! It should be very easy to find someone to switch with you.

Anything plastic or plasticized chrome is pretty disappointing for the price!

It is crazy what they charge for the "Night Edition" package. There is no reason it shouldn't be the same price, except $$$.

I admit I don't understand the process to create these modern day "chrome" pieces. I am pretty sure everything that gets paint added to it, head light surround, grille, grille surround, and whatever else that requires paint work probably costs more to get made. Not to mention the 23 and up get get a different hood.

I do agree that the amount for the night edition package seems high but I think there should be some cost.

Yeah, the up charge for Night Edition is pretty steep. That said, I did get my truck with the Night Edition. Main things I liked about it were the body color grill surrounds, lack of chrome on the rear mirrors, and the hood. But still, pretty pricy.

Just bought a new car for the wife this weekend. She got the Night Edition as well. With hers, the roof rails, exterior mirrors, window molding, and trim on the front and rear bumper area is black instead of chrome. Cost for the option was $200.

I like the night edition exterior.

I prefer the reddish color that comes on the interior of the non night edition / limited.

Wish I could get the ram box + megacab on the laramie.

Love the chrome on our 2022 Limited 3500 HO dually. I think that the “all same color” trucks look cheap. Are those bumpers plastic too?

It might be possible to find someone with a non - night edition that wants to swap some of their conventional parts / badging for some of your night edition ones.

I have to admit the above pictured Pearl White w/chrome 3500 was purchased for utility, not beauty. It’s hard to do much with dually wheels and transport tires. The only mod I’ve made is to added a big, black Ranchhand grill guard.
