12/2/2025: Recall on Digital Instrument Cluster

Took my truck in for an oil change and the recall mentioned above, needless to say the instrument cluster doesent even come on now and they have to replace it. Never had an issue before the service.

I have the 14" screen and we also had a similar recall I believe. Just had it done, so far so good. This reprograming took almost 3 hours

Yeah they called me at noon and told me it was gonna be longer then they expected then they called me that evening saying the screen will not come on. I’m guessing it’s gonna be awhile now.

Mine was throwing random " Gremlins" as I call them. One day the whole dash lit up orange, telling me the ABS system was not working and contact the dealer. Of course, that also threw an engine light. I was running errands, and after the next stop, the ABS warning went away. The engine icon stayed on for the next couple of start/stops before it went away. A day or two later, the dash lit up red. This time it was the TPMS system telling me I had 3 tires that were low and needed air and to fill to 65PSI. All three were at 64PSI, and the one that was not under the warning was at 63PSI. This went away next morning. The next similar one a few days later only involved one tire, also at 64PSI, while the others were at 63-64 and no warning. Our dealer is very good to us, between the business and personal, we have bought lots of vehicles over the years. So, far , it is a total of five work vans and our new car and Ram this year. he didn't have space for me when i called, as I wanted to have it done while my wife picked up her new Grand Cherokee, but he told me to bring it in and he was get it done, so I was there at 9AM but don't know when they got started. Later that afternoon I found out about the 3 hour reprogramming, and could not stop it until finished. I didn't leave there until almost 5PM. So far, it is doing ok

The frustrating part of my situation is the truck has operated basically flawless up until the visit to the dealer. Also the fact it’s been 4 days and I’ve yet to get a rental or loaner truck. Just hoping the instrument cluster isn’t on back order or anything crazy.

Our dealer has been great. BTW- whatever was acting up with the TPMS required him ordering some parts that were not available, but so far no warnings

Was the dealer able to address this? If you are in need of assistance, please send us a message.
