HAPPY NEW YEAR from MARK DODGE!
Hey Gang its been a while so just wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who purchased a RAM from us at MARK DODGE in the 2025 calendar year! And also thanks to everyone who shares knowledge on this forum in a general sense - it's a special place and a great resource not only for purchasing but also maintenance, repair, mods, and general ogling at truck stuff. We had a great year together with a lot of exciting news from RAM throughout. For HDs we somehow crammed in two model years into one LOL, saw the powertain warranty increase to 100K/10Y on all ram trucks, some color changes, and then to cap the year off the announcement of the next TRX and Powerwagon iterations which is super exciting!
We had a heck of a lot of fun meeting people all over the country. In fact, we had the privilege of selling a vehicle to customers in ALL FIFTY states for the second consecutive year. I found that to be pretty interesting, so I'll share below for those who are nerds like me. We do tax, title, and license in all 50 states and can coordinate your shipping too. Or, if you want to fly in and drive back we can pick you up (or bring truck to meet you) anywhere within 250 miles. That'll get you New Orleans, Houston, and anything in between.
We also were THRILLED to be the #1 CDJR and #1 RAM dealership in the country by volume! That's pretty exciting for little ol' Lake Charles and thanks in NO small part to the word of mouth that many of you help with in person and online.
There are a lot of great dealerships on this forum, and off this forum. Overall I like to think that the dealerships getting you the transparent information, best deals, and no BS are all at war with the "others" who do the opposite.
That being said.... we do intend to grow and grow... 2025 we sold 3,228 NEW ram trucks, which was more than 60% above the nearest competitor. With each phase of growth we hope to get more efficient with our time AND costs and pass those savings on to you the customer.
Hey if you're still reading after all that self promotion and reflection, I thought this was cool. RAM put out this chart that I find helpful regarding the ratios on the new 8spd transmission. Sometimes RAM does really cool stuff but doesn't talk about it enough! This chart shows why the 4.10 ratio that was preivously a choice option on prior model years (2024 and earlier) is no longer relevant. I know someone may have already done their own math on the forum before, I don't mean to take away from their effort!
