F/R lockers, swaybar disconnects.

3K payload.

However, I saw no mention of, nor was it pictured with a winch.

Now do a 3500 PW!

I thought the same thing about the 3500 to compete with the Tremor.

Some of the reviews I saw shared that they deleted the winch from the Diesel in order to get it to market sooner. They are directing people to aftermarket solutions for a winch bumper. It sounded that they might offer a factory solution in the future.
 
I like that interior - would look good in a 3500 megacab.

I wonder if they will do anything to rate it for water - such as "as high as the top of the tires -both inside and out".

Also like having cameras underneath to watch for obstacles. Would be a nice option in any truck.
 
I tend to agree, no winch, no lift, totally different ride...seems to not really be a PW, but a front locked heavy duty truck. What the PW really needs is a gas engine upgrade.
 
We’ll just see what the off-road and on-road reviews say. Could be awesome and you two above me could be completely wrong.

@Brutal_HO You can get a winch from Vice Design that mounts in the same spot as the 6.4 Power Wagon for the 6.7

Looks to me like it’s the Cummins Rebel with the front locker and the sway bar disconnect, and Pwer Wagon stickers. It’s even on the Rebel wheels.

I'm well aware of the hidden winch mount from VICE.
 
After reading a bit more I’m now convinced that they’re just tossing the Rebel nameplate out and merging the trim back into the power wagon. There’s no articulink listed in the press release either.

Also, I’ll be shocked if a diesel 2500 has a nearly 3k payload capacity, seeing as that’s what the gas 2500 has. Sounds to me like someone is mis-copying specs.
 
Honestly, Ram always had a good explanation for why the Cummins wasn't offered in the PW. The intercooler takes the winch away, which is a main feature of the package. And the weight of the diesel engine makes keeping the front suspension together while being beaten off-road a challenge. Lastly, the diesel engine throws the weight distribution front to rear off really bad for off-road use.

But, I guess if the wheel squeaks loud enough and for long enough it'll eventually get grease. So I hope people are happy.
 
I don't really care what name is on it (I would do a graphic delete), but I would love the option of lockers front and rear and swaybar disconnect, on a Cummins. Therefore, if I was looking for a new RAM, this would be at the top of my list...
And yes, the payload could easily be ~ 3,000 lbs. My Limited, with the 10,000 lb GVWR has 2,030 lbs payload. The new Power Wagon that we're talking about has a 11,040 GVWR.
 
How are they getting the extra payload and tow ratings? The current 2026 Powerwagon has a payload cap of 1,570 lbs and tow rating of 10,530 lbs. That is due to the soft suspension that allows for superior articulation. Is it due to the newly available rear air suspension which can stiffen the rear when towing? And if so, will that be also available on the 6.4 gas models?

Could be because it no longer has a 68RFE. Lol. I’m so glad that thing is gone.

It’s not going to have the (current) PW suspension. 99% it’s going to have the suspension off the Rebel.
 
So then it's not a Power Wagon.
Part of what makes the current gen Power Wagon a Power Wagon is the suspension, including the articulink radius arms.

It's sounding more and more like a diesel Rebel with front locker and sway bar disconnect and PW graphics.

Based on images, no articulink radius arms; likely has stiff springs/not long travel like the gas PW.

Unfortunately it kind of muddies the water with regards to aftermarket parts. Before the PW was unique and a lot of things didn’t fit, so mfgs would say does or does not fit PW. Now they may have to specify “does/doesn’t fit gas PW”
