2020 Ram 2500 6.7 68rfe
I weight lossed a couple weekends ago, and installed a billet Revmax tuneable valve body and deep pan. After install I did the relearn and drove it about 50 miles, shifting got increasingly worse during that 50 miles. I got home and checked fluids and I was about 2-3 quarts low, I topped off figuring that would fix it, and It did not.
I pulled the valve body out to inspect everything, and found a screw on the solenoid was stripped out, I was able to find a longer stainless screw to get access to more threads as the factory screw only was long enough fora few threads to grab ahold of. This seemed to fix most of the shifting issues except the 3-4 shift, the trans will allow to run into redline before it shifts and the TCC lock unlock seems to take forever. Is this a symptom of a bad solenoid?
No codes and trans stays very cool.
