I have a 2024 2500 that I am going to have a Pronghorn Utility body installed on. The bed dealer/installer is a little concerned about install height because of the factory gooseneck hitch system the pickup has. How difficult is it to remove the OEM hitch and puck system? I assume it is just bolted to the frame?

Yes, the pucks I believe have 2 bolts each. The gooseneck center section has 6 bolts. Once the bed is removed it should be fairly quick work to remove them.

That is some of the best news I've heard! The bed came off a 2009 and is going on a 2024 so the mounting brackets have to be changed and hopefully they can get it done on the 2nd week of January.
