I think I have seen this before on this forum but I have to vent. I bought a 2025 Ram 2500 in October 25. My wife and I bought a camper in Nov. My new truck will not power on the running and tail lights of my new camper when all other trucks I've tried will. Took it to the dealer. After 3 days they really don't know what's up. Think it's the brake light control module. Of course they don't have a new one and they are on back order with no idea when they might get one. Can't pull my new camper without tail/running lights. Does anyone else have this problem? Thank

If you are using the seven wire plug here are a couple things.

Make sure you are using the correct seven wire plug on the camper/trailer end. There are a bunch of threads here on the correct plug.

Make sure all your fuses are fully seated.

By a new replacement trailer plug. Then populate it with the seven wires. Then use a continuity tester to see if your truck is putting our electric signals.

Thanks for that. Yes Camping World did replace the trailer plug. Eliminating variables. So I know it's not the camper. It lights up just fine using other trucks. As to wether it the correct one I'll check. Thanks

Silly question….Did we try turning the headlights on manually….as in not auto lights? Silly I know but….KISS!
