Purchase September 2025
Issues occurred date of purchase and a week after purchase. Been fight Ram customer care and dealerships since.

Def tank has been causing issues since first fill up after purchase. Tank will drop to E then climb back up over time. Dealership refuses to replace since they can’t recreate the issue (which they did recreate the issue while the truck was with them they just didn’t pay attention). There is never an issue in the computer on the truck because the light turns off by the time they get the truck in. They won’t watch the videos to assist in trouble shooting. Which I’ve realized the dealerships for Chrysler don’t understand that word. If it’s not shown on diagnostics they won’t touch it. RAM customer service had said they would replace the tank when I called about this the first time. But I guess RAM changed their mind once the dealership got the truck.

Windshield washing doesn’t work unless you press the button several times. Dealer won’t do anything about this because again won’t work off of videos.

Passenger seat was damaged upon purchase of the truck along with scratches on my hood. These were found after I signed for the truck. Dealership said it would be covered. Service department ignored me for awhile. Tried a different dealer they couldn’t help me because they didn’t do the scratches or mark on the seat. I finally get ahold of my purchasing dealerships GM he said they would look at it and get it fixed along with DEF tank.

Lo and behold both repairs were denied.

Anyone have recommendations to this issue? I’ve tried contacting customer care over the phone and they were not helpful at all. I attached the photos of the seat and dash. I would like to upload videos with date and time stamps and of wiper washer not functioning but I cannot.

For a 90K truck I’d expect it to be better than this and not have issues getting problems fixed when I have proof of damages and issues.

The DEF tank level issue is known on the 25+ trucks, but no TSB as of yet for it. Just need to get the dealership to actually look at it. Any other dealerships around?

I’ve tried two dealerships. Both say it passes visual inspection. And refuse to look at my videos. One used a STAR notice as the reason they won’t replace it.

I'm having the same issue with the windshield washer button. I have to push it several times before spray comes out of the nozzles.

Yea dealership assumed I didn’t know how to use it so they left me a guide. I got a little ****ty with that. So I made sure to send them the video.
