Ok, Im getting spotty P026B codes on my 19 2500 6.7 Cummins. First happened about three/four weeks ago. Checked the code truck was running fine so I cleared it to see if it would come back. Was good till this weekend, coming back from a long trip CEL came on about 180mi from home. Truck was running fine, no performance issues I could tell and it waant in limp mode so when I got back I cleared the code again. Seemed fine monday then on my way to work Tuesday morning CEL came back on. Dropped it off at my local dealership and they came back with low fuel pressure stating fuel filters needed to be replaced or the in tank pump was bad. Just got it back with new filters and seems fine but they were shady about showing me the filters and would only provide the front mounted one, tech supposedly couldn't find the rear one even though they were both just changed. I've had problems with this dealerships service dept and the only reason they did the oil and fuel filter service last time was to close out the last of the service package I purchased. I have it stuck in my head they f'd up the rear filter install last time (5mo ago) and possibly hurt the in tank pump.

Update: CEL came back on same code after 200 miles. Dealer said next step is to replace the in tank pump. Feels like there just replacing parts till the code goes away rather than actually diagnosing what the problem is.

I just had the p026b pop up this morning; 2019 2500 6.7 w/ 135,000 miles. Cleared it with the scanner and will see if it returns. Temps dropped down in the teens last night. Normally my truck will stumble running upon cold morning first start up, this morning it didn’t which I thought maybe they added something to the fuel to prevent gelling. About 5min after thinking this the CEL came on. We shall see if it comes back on.

So I've been reluctant to post anything because I don't want to jynx myself but I had a local diesel mechanic go over it and he loosened and re-connected all the injector wiring leads as well as went through and disconnected and re-tightened all the feed tubed to the injectors. So far the code has not come back and it's been about 2000mi.
