So I have always liked the large front fender flares on the 4500/5500 so decided to install a set on my 3500 limited drw. I ordered them from paintedoemparts.com this is the second time I have bought from them they do excellent work with fair prices. They were $635 shipped painted pearl white perfect match, oem parts. The fender flares bolt right on using the oem holes in the fenders no modification needed at all. The front bumper spats have to be drilled. I'm a little disappointed in the alignment of the front spats for being oem but I attribute that to my method of marking and drilling holes as well as it being a 3500 bumper not 4500/5500. Overall I'm happy they look good and I eventually plan to replace the front bumper with a large steel bumper. Anyway on to the pictures. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.20230930_185443.jpg20230930_185446.jpg20230930_185452.jpg20230930_185455.jpg20230930_185500.jpg20230930_185505.jpg20230930_185515.jpg20230930_185856.jpg20230930_185904.jpg

I'll post more pictures out in the sun when I get a chance, I also plan to attempt to install my gatorback mud flaps which will take some modification it looks like to make them work but I think it can be done. If I were to do it over I would mount the fender flares first then alight the bumper spats and drill. I went reverse and mounted the bumper spats first which was a mistake.

Also worth mentioning the 3500 gatorback front mud flaps are not going to work without significant modification, not sure what I'm gonna do yet. Also debating putting some front wheel spacers on so the wheels fill out the flares a little more.. not sure if it's worth it though..

Looking good. There's some pics in my build thread towards the beginning showing both the Duraflap and Mopar 4500/5500 front flaps if that is of any help to you.

Thanks! No I have not, they are just sitting in the parts pile here. I'll drop you a private message so we don't clutter up your thread.

Looks great and inspired me to order a set which I'm about to install this week. What did you do with the fender penetrating hardware... make a template & drill the fender, remove and use double stick 3M, just remove and let friction hold it? I expect to hit some brush so I am leaning towards using 3M. Thank you.

Sorry just saw this, my truck had OEM flares, so the holes were already in my fenders. Flares bolted on just like factory.

Can you give me a measurement of how much these stick out off the fender. After 4 years of my truck being dirty from the 22’s, I think I want to do this.

damn..i know we dm'd each other on the fender conversion but I didnt know why i didnt see your completion until now. That looks really good. Much cleaner than what I did. I like that bumper as compared to my AEV one cause the flares terminate on the bumper and you didnt have to use the bumper extensions anymore.
