While I haven't consumed a lot of Andrew's content, Lake is a very well known and respected professional analyst and I take a lot of stock in his content. I'd add that he was spot on with most informed folks regarding the snake oil nature of off the shelf oil additives when he ran that battery of tests.
That said, while this is a great round of tests for LUBRICITY, that's not really what this particular thread is about.
Back when many of us were concerned about the longevity aspects of our CP4.2 pumps, and before they were replaced with recall, this and many other similar test results were extremely beneficial and educational. FWIW, I ran XPD from day 1 in my 2020, and only switched to Archoil when lubricity issues were no longer a concern and many owners here started obtaining great results using Archoil to reduce their DPF regen issues.
Bottom line, unless someone does (or has done) enough long term testing using XPD that shows better regen results than Archoil, I think it remains the goto product for most Cummins owners. The Ford guys should probably stick with XPD. I would if, God forbid, I owned a Ford.
