I’ve always been skeptical about magic in a bottle

But I just poured the last of my first bottle of Archoil. I was very skeptical it would do anything other than lighten my wallet, but three or four tanks @ 2 ozs. per ten gallons and my DPF display hasn’t wandered off zero.
I’ll probably drop to the recommended 1 oz. per ten gallons with the next bottle. Now I just have to figure out an elegant way to pour it into the tank.
I am very impressed.

I found the Archoil bottle a disaster, mess everywhere or just couldn't get the hang of it so I bought this and it is way easier to pour from.

And its probably cheap on the US amazon.
EDIT: Just looked on US amazon and don't see it there.

It seems to me the shorter neck of the Shotstigo bottle would be even more difficult. I must be missing something.
I was able to use my finger to hold the spring loaded valve open enough to avoid splash back . That looks like the best solution at this point.

I just ram the longneck bottle in with a purpose, and it works great.

Definitely store it in a sealed ammo can though, to avoid the awful smell.

I have no problems using the Archoil 6500 40 oz bottle when adding it to my tank but if I did I would just used the white filler funnel that came with my truck when it was new, see second URL:

Ive heard that there are 3 bottle variants out there and I think I have the worst.. I use a funnel as well and still do but the Shotstigo bottle may have a small neck but it pours much better.
There is a guy with a RV channel that had the same problem with the Archoil bottle and went back to hotshots just because he was so pissed with the Archoil bottle. I only use the 32oz not the 16 oz. bottle.

Yeah, I prefer to avoid using the funnel - any funnel. I don't have a tool box in this truck and like to keep everything tidy and clean. I have nitrile gloves in the rear driver side door pocket and keep the Archoil bottle in that pocket as well. I am considering putting a box behind the back seat on the driver side to hold these things, along with the pliers and caps when I have the ball and anchors in the bed.
I do keep a cordless impact driver, sockets, wrenches and torque wrenches in the front compartment of the 5er. One of those swing out storage containers that sits behind the wheel in the bed looks really useful. Except for blocking the bed light on that side.

First world problems for sure. :D

Did you really mean 2 oz. per gallon? According to the bottle, the 1x dose is 1 oz.per 10 gallons and the 2x dose is 2 oz. per 10 gallons. 2 oz. per gallon would be 10 times the recommended 2x dose, and according to some of the Youtube info, could cause engine damage from excess carrier fluid. (Not to mention adding $20 - $40 to every fillup.)

Fixed, thanks!

I have a long skinny funnel that I think I bought at DG for nearly nothing. It works great and kinda locks in when you push it in the tank. I add the Archoil when fueling and run a little diesel through the funnel to rinse it out. I use a paper towel with a zip tie around it to put over the small end, push paper towels down in the funnel and then wrap it up in 3 different Walmart bags and tie it up. I have a 60 gallon auxiliary tank in the bed and the funnel fits perfectly in the corner of the bed beside the tank. Has ridden there up to 90 mph.

I'm a big fan of Archoil now also. My truck was regen'ing every 150 miles when I first got it. I'm haflway through my first bottle and it's now averaging 437 mi between regens on my CTS3. I also just switched stations to top tier diesel on this last tank so will see if that helps improve regen intervals even further.

Also if you can stay away from 20% bio diesel unless your going to be on the Hwy at speeds above 50 MPH for the whole tank, JMHO

I'm sure videos like this have been shared on the topic, but I'm new to a lot of this and found this one in my own search for supporting scientific data, hopefully y'all find it useful as I did in your decision making.
