So I finished up applying my own spray in bedliner using Raptor liner I got on Amazon. I have to say Im extremely pleased with the results. It was a super easy install that took about half a day. The prep work was the worst part about it but really wasn’t that big of a deal. The actual application process was simple and quick. I think it looks great and seems tough as nails. Time will tell. I also 3D printed a ram receiver hitch plug to cover up that rusty gaping hole under the bumper

I did a similar kit to my 2010 F150 a few years ago, it still looks really good and had held up really well. I will probably be doing my 2500 soon with the Raptor kit.

How long did the prep work take?

When I did my F150, prep was about 2 hours. I first washed the bed with dawn dish soap and blew out the water with a leaf blower. Then hit the entire bed with 80 grit paper using my Ryobi palm sander, hit all the smaller areas and corners by hand with 80 grit. Then blew out the bed with a leaf blower, followed by a wipe down with lacquer thinner to make sure everything was clean and free of any oils that I might have missed.

I used that on my old F250.
Prep was a lot of work. But it held up well. And you can spray over it for touchups.
Other systems you can't
