2026 RAM HD Builds and Orders

Update with a bit of a timeline for anyone who might be interested (my dealer and I are both in Indiana): Ordered 8/20 - Status to D on 9/10 - Status to D1 on 9/25 - Built and staged for shipment on 10/9 - Just south of US border on 10/13 - San Antonio on 10/17 - Ft. Worth TX on 10/20 - Kansas on 10/23 - in Illinois on 10/24 and still there as of this morning.

The estimated delivery from Ram states 10/28/25-11/06/25 according to dealer. We will see what happens from here. Hopefully it will show up sometime this week!

edit: Oh and the tracker still doesn't show any information for what it is worth.

When you get a chance, I wanna see a lot of pictures of this color.

I wanna know what you honest opinion is about this color.

Thanks.
I like mine more than the black/grey/silver/white trucks, but not as much as the older Patroit blue. It changes colors depending on the light. The pic from my fuelly sig looks like the granite color cause the sun was at dusk. At night you'd assume its black.

I put a deposit down for a Rebel HD that’s been in transit since September. The dealership is saying they’re not expecting it until December because of the tariffs. Is anyone else running into this?

My Rebel “shipped” on 8/30. I found out that “shipped” means it left the Saltillo plant and sent to Port Altamira in Mexico. It sat there until 10/9 when it was loaded on a RORO ship. It landed at Davisville port RI on 10/17, where it has been sitting waiting for a car carrier to be assigned to deliver to my dealer.

After a 6 week delay due to bumper damage in shipping it arrived.

Unfortunately at 84km or so, I got the cascade of warnings, then after stopping I lost drive, reverse, and even park. I was able to get home by shutting down and opening doors to put screens to sleep.

Hope it gets squared away.

Besides the gremlins, how’s the truck before the issues? Thoughts on the ZF? How’s the 3500 unloaded?

The ZF is much smoother than the ‘heavy truck’ feeling Aisin and hopefully proves to be as durable, which I understand has been proven in other platforms.

I don’t mind the firm ride of the 3500 at all, and this truck will have a slide in camper in it most of the time anyways.

Thanks for your response. I think the ZF is going to be amazing for the RAM 6.7

Is it a “jarring” ride or just stiffer than the 2500? I’m asking all of these questions because mine will be an unloaded travel rig for the majority of its miles and a commuter. Heavy gooseneck towing will be seasonal.

I will say that once I retire in 6 years, I’ll be doing a lot more track days with this truck if I haven’t bought a newer model by then.

Man, that is not good enough, we expect better pictures. Congratulations

Short time reader first time poster :p. I can finally justify a 3/4 ton truck. Land, family, tractor. Have always been partial to Rams for full-size and 3/4 ton trucks but wanted to give a fair shake/look at of the big three. Test drove a F250 XLT with the PS 6.7 Saturday. Steering felt really heavy. Infotainment screen was decent. Thought it was really cool you could have Android Auto/Apple Carplay going AND have a camera turned on for your hitch/bed cam in a separate tile next to it.

Test drove a High Country today and a Limited Longhorn this morning. I tried to be impartial but I really liked the interior/ergonomics of the Ram. For being the highest trim level Chevrolet is living under a rock. The heads up display was really cool....but that's it.

I asked them to price one to my specs, really just want the trim level with an 8FT bed and goose neck prep already done. I can only find the 6FT beds. One I drove was the megacab. Nice amount of storage but I want the 8FT bed. Waiting to hear back on price. The price they quoted me this morning was far under MSRP and the dealer cam well recommended online/word of mouth. ETA for delivery was Feb-March. I can wait that long as I plan on driving it for 10-15 years.

May put money down this week.

Did you seat all the fuses ? Mine were loose AF on delivery … someone on here said do that first and I’m beyond thankful I did

Yep. Ram still has the best interior by far and also the Cummins is the best engine. And now, we finally got a proven transmission.

You are so correct. Really liking my 2026 Longhorn right now. Just one hiccup from day one and getting that fixed tomorrow. The navigation and the compass stopped working as soon as I hit my door yard the day, I picked it up 22nd of September. Will hit 3000 miles I think this week yet.

Trim trim do you have?
