Service Air Suspension System Immediately after AlfaOBD tinkering

I'm assuming jscan didn't work on calibrating it?

I just found the procedure and will attach it to the post
Apparently JScan has a bug and the settings are not saved. Light stays on. They are fixing the bug; hopefully soon. The Android version supposedly works but I have iPhone. I have also tried using a high end X-Tool scanner but it refuses to write the values that I obtained. Just want to make sure that I am measuring the right spots for the calibration, which according to your instructions I was NOT. Thanks so much for taking the time. This is exactly what I need. Now if I can just write in the values and make it stick. C

Nope. No luck. That new scanner died. Sent it back. Hopefully JScan will come up with a bug fix. I am looking for another scanner in the meantime. As a last resort will end up at the dealer.

I had to change settings to metric.

Hey man so I just fixed mine. I done the measurements and all and it was useless. I used a scanner to unlock the sgw but I had an ezlynk jumped it with a Obd splitter and used the ezlynk “write height values” to input what I wanted.

I am using a sgw bypass cable but since the iOS version of JScan has a bug that prevents writing the values it has failed multiple times. Still hoping for a bug fix. Also might buy a cheap android phone as apparently that JScan version doesn’t have the bug. Have attempted to contact JScan but no resolution. He had told me the bug was going to be fixed a couple of weeks ago. I keep checking for an updated version but so far the only one on the Apple Store is six months old.
EDIT: I did get a message that they would have the fix for OBD JScan shortly after the new year. fingers crossed.

The creator of JScan sent me a script as a temporaty fix that resolved my problem. LIGHT IS OFF. He did this in the interim for me as they have a major update coming up in January. To say I am happy to get that light off is an understatement since that fith wheel was going nowhere until the issue was resolved. I have to say, that was great customer service.

What values did you end up entering? One thing I did notice after running the script from JScan is that the Alt Trailer Height is now available without the trailer and lowers the bed just over an inch. The values he put in (300 mm) are at the low end of the specs but well within spec. Maybe I have too much junk in the bed but I doubt it is anywhere near the 600 pounds that Ram says is needed to lower the bed. I think the values make a the truck a bit lower which is fine since my fifth wheel rides a bit nose high. The hitch is as low as it can go. Regardless, happy that the damn caution light is gone.
