Welcome and congrats on the future purchase. I will just say, the DRW has handled the winds with a trailer in WY better. My last 2 trucks have been dually. When I first moved to WY, I had a SWD. The winds did push me around some. I am not going to say I don't still get pushed around at all...
Yes it is a Ranch Hand. They are pretty heavy, but not a heavy as the one I put on my old Ford. That one weigh about 400 lbs. I think that the Ranch Hands are only about 200 or 250 lbs. On these newer trucks the bumper doesn't leave as much of a shadow in the headlights as with older body style.
I do miss the old one. It was an 07' with a 5.9 and a standard. Had to change the dual mass flywheel and only replaced one front axle joint. With 267k was starting to worry about things starting to go south. Hope the new truck lasts as long with the same good record.
New here and wanted to say Howdy. Finally got my upgrade. Drove my last Ram for 13 years. Put 267k miles on it and was still running strong. Decided to do a trade before it started to nickel and dime me.
