Because is was cheaper than the 3500. Real reason. I do not tow more than 7000 lbs. I bought it for my slide in camper I will be hauling (my payload is almost 3000 lbs) that weighs in at about 1500 lbs loaded.
The 3500 would have been overkill.
Mine is my daily driver as well so the on road...
I drive 110 miles to work and back 4 days a week. Everything on my truck is stock. I drive a mix of rural (45-55 MPH) and interstate (70-75 MPH). I average 14.9 on the lie-o-meter. With the stock tank I am refueling (at 1/4) every 3.5 days.
While I wish I had a bigger tank, I have zero regrets...
Had mine installed last month.
So far the results.
If I remote start the truck and then try to unlock it one i leave the house (about 30' to the truck) nothing.
If I get within 3 feet of the truck it will unlock.
1 times I had a problem that it would not unlock, after a few seconds and being...
Had mine installed Saturday, I have used it a few times over the past few days and so far so good.
I had 2 fobs included. Mine was dealer purchased. The 2 fobs are the 4 button model (lock, unlock, start and panic). Unlike my original fobs the sides are silver vs black on the old ones.
I will...
For me this was my number one reason for Gas over a Diesel:
The wife said no.
reason number 2:
"The other reason for gas was due to where I camp and fish. When I had my F350 diesel I had to at times hunt for a place that sold diesel. Not off the interstate or main highways, but in the remote...
This is exactly what I dealer said to me.
I currently have right rear out and had left front and rear out when I bought it. Both the left side magically started to work. No idea why.
That is if you plan to sell it. For me by the time I sell mine it will not matter gas or diesel, they will be worth about the same that is if my son in 5 years does take it from me as he at 11 wants it now. My issue was the higher cost, higher payment and the approver said NO diesel, even though...
Here is mine. Before I had the side steps, bed cover and rear Mopar step installed.
Only other things was I put Silver Star bulbs in. Those make a massive difference and Now I can see at night.
Tradesman 6.4L bought mainly to haul my slide in camper (that LandRover was just sold) has the 4.10...
When I bought my truck last month I bought it for one main thing. To put my slide in camper on it. I was in need of a new vehicle immediately so no ordering for me. Dealer lots suck that is for sure. But I hunted and found the right truck (well 4)
Had to be a crew cab long box.
I struggled with...
So my last truck was a 07 F150. Before that a 05 F350 SCREW (ya 6.0 I know). Recently I was driving a LR3 that left me on the side of the road twice. So with that I decided it was time for another truck.
This will be hauling my soon to be rebuilt 1969 Alaskan Camper.
I looked at Ford, Ram and...
