Red thanks again for the info, I went out this morning and pulled the CHMSL and found the camera comes out of the light assy. and you're correct - it'll lay up in the cavity just fine. Block off plate is ordered.
Thanks, so everything I've seen, the cabs are the same - I'm guessing the reason they say the block off plate "does not fit my application" is to keep their use on upfitted commercial vehicles.
One last question, the part number you referenced.......when I plug that in to Mopar's website, it comes back and says it wont fit a 2500........I thought they ran the same cabs on the 2500's and 3500's - any thoughts?
Wow that's awesome - thanks a bunch! I don't have any interest in making changes that create more headaches. I also figure I'm not the only guy in the world to have a cargo camera equipped truck and wanting to install a cap - someone's done this before lol........thanks again for the help!
Hey Red, Thanks for the info - I didn't know that was an option lol. So I just brought a used 2500 home and tried to order a cap for it - the guy called back a few minutes after he processed my down payment and said we needed to verify if it had the cargo camera option and I laughed at him and...
Has anyone removed a CHMSL w/Camera and and gone to the flat CHMSL w/o camera to allow a topper clearance/installation? Does the BCM have to be reprogramed to not throw error message? Thanks in advance for any info anyone has!
